Life savers (a Rhett and Link fanfic)

February 4th

Sophie woke up bright and early to greet her father.

Her dad yawned and said,"Sophie. Why are you up at 4 in the morning?"

"I wanted to wake up to see you.",says Sophie,"Before you go to work.."

"Okay..... well. Do you want any breakfast?" Asked dad.

"Oh no-no-no! Let me make YOU breakfast since you work so hard all the time!",Says Sophie as she runs into the kitchen,"Want a waffle?"

"Sure! I'll eat whatever you make." Says dad.

"I'll make you a waffle in the waffle iron and some scrambled eggs." Says Sophie as she gets out the pan and the waffle iron. She then gets out the eggs and cooks them. She gets out the waffle mix and makes the waffle.

"It's done!" Sophie says as she brings the food to her dad.

"Thank you!" Says her dad as he eats it.

"Not a problem!" Says Sophie as she walks back into her room.

She flops onto her bed, grabs her guitar and starts writing a song. She sings,"Dont you worry your pretty little mind! People throw rocks at things that shine!" She suddenly stops and thinks.

Her dad walks into her room.

"Bye Sophie. Remember to get dressed for school. I can't take you today. Can you walk?" Asks her dad.

"Yep! And Lizzy said she would be here in 2 hours to walk with me! Can she?" Asked Sophie hapily.

"Sure! Just be safe and always look both ways!",Says her dad as he grabs his laptop bag,"Well I gotta go to work. Bye sweetie!"

Her dad hugs her and then walks out the door.

Sophie sighs and looks down at her Mickey Mouse pajama pants and her Opening Night shirt from dance. She gets out her phone and sings,"Treasure! That is what you are! Oh oh ohhhhhh!"

Lizzy calls Sophie.

*on the phone*

"Hey Soph! Whats up?" Asks Lizzy.

"Nothing. JALAPENO! Haha that catch phrase doe..." says Sophie.

"JALAPENO! Hehe. Out catch phrase is boss." Says Lizzy.

Sophie laughs,"Hahaha! Are you still coming to my house to walk with me to school? My dad said its okay!"

Lizzy smiles and says," Oh em gee! Yeah!"

"Well see ya in about an hour...... Jalapeno. Hehe!" Says Sophie jokingly.

"Yep! Bye Jalapeno! Jk. Bye Soph!" Says Lizzy.

Sophie and Lizzy both hang up.

Sophie takes a shower, blow dries, and curls her hair. She puts it into a messy bun.

She then puts on a red sweater with a silver heart on it, grey skinny jeans, black converse, and a red beanie. Then she puts her makeup on and hops onto her bed.

She gets out her guitar and sings: "I'd catch a grenade for ya! Throw my hand on a blade for ya! Id jump in front of a train for ya....... Take a bullet straight through my brain.... I would die for you baby. But you wont do the same!"
ONE HOUR LATER..

Sophie waits at the door and stares into the beautiful snowy distance out the window. She then hears a knock at the door.

Sophie opens the door and says,"Lizzy! Are you ready to go? Jalapeno...."

"Yep! I'm ready!" Says Lizzy hapily.

They both head outside and walk to school.

"So Sophie..... you and Link huh?" Says Lizzy.

"What? We're just friends!" Says Sophie.
