Life savers (a Rhett and Link fanfic)

Who do you think you are?

As Sophie rides confidently on the street ahead of Rhett and Link, her skateboard hits a rock and flips her off onto the ground onto her stomach after her face scrapes on the ground.

Rhett and Link see Sophie on the ground. They throw their bikes on the ground and rush to help her.

"Sophie! Are you okay?!" Asks Rhett as helps her up.

"What happened?!!" Asks Link.

"My board hit a rock. I'm okay..." says Sophie as she looks at the hole in her jeans.

"Ouch! You have a huge cut on your face!" Says Link wincing.

"You need a tissue?" Says Rhett as he also winces.

"Nah. I'm fine." Says Sophie. She gets back on her skateboard and rides beside Rhett and Link.

They ride together through a small neighborhood. Sophie smiles at Rhett and Link.

Sophie starts to sing,"I'm so glad you made time to see me.

How's life? Tell me how's your family?

I haven't seen them in a while.

You've been good, busier than ever,

We small talk, work and the weather,

Your guard is up and I know why.

Because the last time you saw me

Is still burned in the back of your mind.

You gave me roses and I left them there to die.

So this is me swallowing my pride,

Standing in front of you saying, "I'm sorry for that night,"

And I go back to December all the time.

It turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing you.

Wishing I'd realized what I had when you were mine.

I'd go back to December, turn around and make it all right.

These days I haven't been sleeping,

Staying up, playing back myself leavin'.

When your birthday passed and I didn't call.

And I think about summer, all the beautiful times,

I watched you laughing from the passenger side.

Realized I loved you in the fall.

And then the cold came, the dark days when fear crept into my mind

As they keep riding they get a little scared because of the rustling they keep hearing. Sophie rides in between Rhett and Link.

They ride close together quickly.... looking around.

Suddenly, a rock gets thrown right into Sophie's front skateboard wheel. She gets flung forwards on the ground. Then a rock gets thrown into Rhett's and Link's front bike wheels and they are flung forward to the left and right of Sophie.

A sillhouette of a person walks out of the bushes to Rhett, Link, and Sophie. He throws his stack of rocks up and catches them.

"Well well well..... if it isn't Sophie and her nerd gang." Says the person as he laughs.

"Marcus. I should've known it was you." Says Sophie as she glares up at him.

"Heh-heh-heh. You haven't changed a bit. You're still ugly. And your clothes are still terrible." Says Marcus.

"Hey! Don't say that about her! Jerk!" Link yells at Marcus as he hugs Sophie.

"Aw this is your little boyfriend? He's just as ugly as you!" Says Marcus as he laughs.
