Life savers (a Rhett and Link fanfic)

Part Of Me

Sophie quietly starts to sing while sitting in the top of a tall tree.

"Days like this I want to drive away

Pack my bags and watch your shadow fade

 You chewed me up and spit me out

Like I was poison in your mouth

You took my light, you drained me down

But that was then and this is now

No-"

Sophie is interupted when she hears a twig break beneath her. ITS LINK!

He looks around and then up.

"Sophie!" Says Link as he climbs up.

A tear rolls down Sophie's face. She sings a little louder, a different song.

"All this money can't buy me a time machine (Nooooo)

Can't replace you with a million rings (Nooooo)

I should've told you what you meant to me (Whoa)

'Cause now I pay the price..."

Right when Link arrives to the top of the tree, Sophie grabs him into a hug.

"Even if you were... gawking at her...", says Sophie, her eyes wet with tears,"I don't care... I still wanna be with you."

"Sophie..." ,says Link,"You will always be mine. My forever and always. You're my beautiful princess..." Link kisses her on the forehead,"And no one can change that."

They climb down to the flat part of the tree and sit down, face to face.

Sophie's and Link's lips came crashing together. Sophie wraps her hands around his neck and her legs around his hips.

They finally stop and Link takes something out of his pocket. He holds it out to her.

"I believe this belongs to you." Says Link as he holds out the locket.

Sophie smiles and puts it on.

They both jump down drom the tree and Link picks her up wedding style. She laughs along with Link.

"Haha! Put me down! Haha! Put me down." Says Sophie.

Link laughs and puts her down.

They both walk to find Lizzy and Rhett.

Lizzy runs to Sophie and bear hugs her. Sophie hugs her back.

"Sophie!!" Exclaims Lizzy.

"Where were you?! We looked all over for you!" Says Rhett.

"Oh she was spending some time in a tree by herself." Says Link.

Lizzy and Sophie stop hugging and Sophie walks over to Link. She grabs a hold of Link's hand.

Link looks down at their hands and smiles. Sophie looks down at their hands then up at Link. Link winks. Sophie laughs.
