Life savers (a Rhett and Link fanfic)

"The One That Got Away"

Sophie lies on the ground in the blood from her knees and jaw. She lies still with her eyes closed trying to breathe.

"Sophie!!!!" Yells Link.

"Sophie!!!" Yells Rhett as he shakes her arm.

Sophie coughs and says in a very soft, crippled voice,"L-link..... I l-love you."

Link grabs her hand and holds it tightly.

"Don't die on me Sophie!!!" Says Link.

Sophie suddenly loses her grip on Link and stops breathing.

"Nooooooo!!!!!" Link screams to the sky.

Rhett balls out crying.

"She was so young and passionate!" Says Rhett crying.

"My Sophia Renee Bellerose...... my beautiful rose!" Yells Link crying.

Link starts crying and singing.
