Chapter 3

Time skip to phase 4

Who the hell was number 89? You couldn't catch someone if you didn't know who they were, could you?

It had been almost 7 hours since the fourth phase started, and it was quickly getting dark. You knew you had to find shelter soon. You started to explore the island, but it was too dark to see. Shit. 

Suddenly, you heard the whiz of a bullet, quickly being pushed down to the ground by a silhouette of a boy you couldn't quite make out in the dark.

You see a bullet fly slightly above his hair, causing it to fluff up and blow around. He was right above you, pinning you onto the ground. You could feel his breath on your face, it was warm and made you blush once you realized who it was.

"K-killua."

He smirked at you before standing up, dusting off his hands and holding one out for you. You took it and stood up.

"What- why are you here?"

He shrugged, holding out 2 badges, which you assumed were his and his target. "I already got my badge, so I decided to look around and found you."

You respond with a simple oh, but you couldn't help but wonder how he had gotten his badge so early in the phase. You grabbed your weapons, 2 butcher knives, off the ground and put it into 2 straps hidden beneath your dress. How had he gotten his badge so early in the phase? You started to walk away, but he quickly catched up to you and followed you.

You continued to walk and ignore him, but he still walked next to you.

"You don't have to follow me."

He shrugged, placing his hands on his head and continued walking.

"Really, I don't need help."

"If I didn't help you, you would've died."

You pause for a second.

"...Thanks."

"No kiss for your prince?"

Kiss? Prince? You knew he meant to annoy you, but it was still akward. You roll your eyes at him but continue walking.

"You know, your cute when you roll your eyes."

You blush and jump away from him, suprised.

"What? I am not!"

He laughs and continue to walk, and you cross you arms. 

"Your cute when you cross your arms too."

You turn your head away from him, continuing to walk.

Did he really think you were cute? Gosh Y/N, stop it. Your not a stupid fangirl. Besides, there was no way he would like you. Even if he did... you didn't like him. Right?

3 days later

"Y/N!"

You look up from your fire and see Killua running towards you.

"Killua! Look, I caught a chicken!"

You hold up a cooked chicken leg. Smiling as he continued to run to you.

"I found out who number 89 is!"

You quickly stand up and drop your chicken leg

"Really? Who?!"

He goes to you and puts his hands in his pockets.

"You know that weird tall dude with the cleft chin? He was near that cliff we passed a while back."
