TW: Impy dies from explosion, there's quite a bit of blood

Impulse always knew something would go wrong during a Boomers job.

Ever since Skizz died when a tnt storage facility blew up, Impulse has been careful with the highly explosive material. Being a part of the Boomer Trio made it difficult to avoid using it, but he didn't want to let his friends down.

So far nearly every job went perfectly, with the worst thing that happened so far was them accidentally blowing up Ren's starter base {to be fair, that was Ren's fault}. Every job was safe. He had no reason to be scared. Until today.

{Okay bois, this ain't canon anymore} The trio were underneath the Shopping district, helping Tango carve out the area in which decked out was going to be. Impulse was sitting on the back of one of the flying tnt cannons {autocorrect wanted to say crayons}, making sure nothing broke.

When the machine got to the end of the tunnel, Impulse pressed the button to turn it off. Instead, he heard a hissing sound, and then all the leftover tnt exploded, throwing him back a couple hundred blocks.

Tango and Bdubs saw what happened, and ran over to where Impulse fell as soon as the smoke cleared.

His clothes were torn, he had many cuts on him, and a pool of blood was slowly forming around him. When the other 2 reached him, he weakly held his hand out towards them, and Tango grabbed it, as if trying to anchor him to life.

Impulse wanted to talk to them, reassure them that everything would be okay, but he was fading fast. He heard Tango and Bdubs talking to him, but he couldn't figure out what they were saying.

He could see Skizz standing a few blocks away. He held out his hand, and Impulse took it. Skizz pulled him up, and gave him a hug.

And then, he was gone.
