The man looked up to see another figure standing above him. The man who has haunted his nightmares for years, the one he's been trying to escape all these years.
''C- Carter?''
''That is me.''
''How did you find me. What do you want?''
''You know what I want Tyler.''
''You- Never.''
''It's been so long.''
''I shouldn't have trusted you Carter!''
''This time will be different.''
''Yeah? Well last time you made me kill thousands of people, and I didn't get control back until 3 years later! I won't.''
''I can give you everything you have ever desired Tyler. All I need is your soul.''
Tyler looked into those eyes, swirling, and purple, as he let the words sink in. Everything he wants. But. He can't.
''No. I'll never become a part of your sick and twisted games ever again.''
''Very well then. I have no use for you anymore.''
Carter turned, and walked back to the swirling portal he came from. Tyler stood up, thinking all was fine. Suddenly, a crack formed in the ground below him, and the fires of hell came bursting out, killing him, almost instantly, but more painfully than he could ever imagine. The last thing Carter heard was the scream of his former friend, trapped in eternity.
