''C'mon, wake up, mom's got us stuff for our birthday.''
The young boy jumped off of his twin's bed, then ran out of the room. The other boy sat up and looked at his watch
8 am, July 29
''I'm coming!''
He jumped out of bed and ran to the main room, where their mother was waiting, holding 2 small boxes in her hands. Once they both sat there, she gave it to them. Inside the boxes were. Inside each box was an armband, black for Lied, and white for Nom. They both stood up and gave her a hug
''Thanks mommy, you always give us the best presents.''
''No problem sweety.''
''We love you mom.''
''Love you too my little gremlins.''
The two brothers then went outside, hanging out with their friends, then going back home one the sun has set. That night, the two of them lay in their bunk bed, unable to sleep
''Hey Nom?''
''Yeah?''
''Do you think Dad will ever come back?''
The question shocked Nom a bit
''I- I don't know. It's been 3 years since he left Mom.''
''Yeah..''
The silence between the two was calm, and soon enough they were both asleep
