Chapter Seven: Bodies

Annabeth looks down at her stomach slowly and sees Riptide.

I slowly slide my sword out of her and she falls to the ground crying "I did love you once Annabeth..... But you betrayed me..... Annabeth? Why did you betray me?!"

"W-why.... P-percy...?" She whispers as she closes her eyes, dead at last.

Percy's Point of View

"Percyyyyyy" Grover yelled when he saw me.

I ran up to Grover "What's wrong?!" I asked.

"The... Juniper! Annabeth! Juniper.... F-found..... Found......" Grover began crying.

"Grover! Tell me what happened!" I yelled even though I already know what he's trying to say.

"Juniper found Annabeth dead!" Grover yelled then fell to the ground in a sobbing mess.

"W-what?!?" I asked acting shocked.

"She's dead! Somebody killed her!" Grover sobbed.

"Oh...." I said.

I walked to my cabin and went inside. Braiden was already there.

"I know you killed her!" He growled "You traitor! You killed Annabeth!"

I smirked "Yeah. What else happened?" I asked.

Braiden glared at me "Y-you.... Why?! You used to be a hero!"

I laughed "Really?! Well! You took all that away! You took my girlfriend! Or ex girlfriend..... You took away everything of mine! Everything!" I shouted at him.

"So this is all my fault?!?!" Braiden shouted back.

"No. It's the gods. Luke was right. The gods need to pay more attention to us! Then they would've seen what really happened. I bet if I kill you then nobody we'll ever find out! Hmmm." I said "Maybe..... I can use...... Riptide? No that's to big of a hint to leave behind."

Brayden's eyes were full of fear.

"Or your weapon. They might think it was suicide." I said "Yeah. Let me see that dagger of yours"

Brayden shook his head "N-no!"

I glared at him "Did you just say no?" I smirked "Fine. Then I might as well use my powers......"

I closed my eyes and concentrated on the water in his body and manipulated to make grab his knife and stab himself. I kept on making him stab himself repeatedly as I laughed, enjoying this small moment.

"Oh poor Braiden! Nobody to aid him now." I laughed then I stopped controlling the water in him.

He collapsed onto the ground "W-why...?" He choked out then closed his eyes.

I checked his pulse to make sure he was dead. He's dead. I left his body on the ground and soon fell asleep on my bed.

I woke up and looked outside.

It was night. Perfect. Now to hide Braiden's body.

I dragged his body out of the cabin and dragged it all the way to the forest. I continued dragging his body until I was sure that nobody will find it anytime soon.

I ditched the body and ran to my cabin and quickly cleaned everything up and took a shower.

I walked to the mess hall and sat at the Poseidon table. Lunch.

Breakfast went by smoothly and nobody noticed Braiden was gone.

But now, they are starting to notice. Some people have asked me where he was but I just simply shrugged and walked away.

Everybody was still sad about Annabeth's death. Especially Hazel and Reyna.

"CHIRONNNNNN! HELPPPP!" Somebody screamed.

Everybody ran to where the scream came from. A tree nymph stood there, fear in her eyes as she frantically searched for Chiron. Chiron galloped to her.

"What's wrong?!?" Chiron asked worried.

"I- I- I was walking around my tree! And I saw a dead body!" The tree nymph sobbed.

Chiron frowned. "Take me there." He said.

The tree nymph nodded and led him into the forest.

"Who do you think it is?!" Somebody asked.

"I don't know. What if it's another of the seven?!?!" Another said.

Then they all started talking.

Chiron galloped back. "Percy. It was your brother. Braiden."

Everybody gasped and started talking again.

"B-Braiden?" I asked shocked.

They found the body already?

Chiron nodded.

I ran back to my cabin.

"Killing people is fun." I smirked, talking to myself.

"I wonder who I should kill next?"
