I wake up feeling really refreshed... until I saw the time.
It was freaking 1pm and Andrew was picking me up at 2. I scramble off my bed and go to clean up.
How could I sleep for 11 hours, what is this! I thought I would wake up around 11 or 12 but nope, my brain just didn't want to.
As soon as I finish splashing some water on my face I needed put some clothes on. This day might just already be a disaster. I force myself into a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and a hoodie.
Running down the stairs I hear my phone vibrate. Great, I had to run all the way back up the stairs.
As I got my phone I saw who it was.
Coming in 40 -Andick
Lovely. I hop down back the stairs and throw a jimmy dean croissant thingy into the microwave. Nobody was home on Saturdays and it was just me.
ZZzzt
I had to turn the stupid sound on again.
What was that thing Ms. D said in English? -Micheal
What? What was he talking about? Thanks for being so specific, she's a freaking teacher, she talks the whole period. Sorry Micheal but I'll get back to you on that one later.
"Oh, I should probably print out the list she gave me" I mutter to myself.
I leave the croissant in the microwave and jump onto my laptop.
I look at the list as it prints out.
What did we actually need? Napkins? Really? I thought the coffee shop would give us that. Helium balloons? helium balloons. Wow great.
How much money did she give me? I run up the stairs again and take my wallet, checking the envelope she gave me. Hmm the art club gave us 120 dollars, nice.
I was ready to eat my sandwich now, it was already 1:42.
As I took a bite of my croissant sandwich I heard a ping.
Coming right now, 10 minutes- Andick
What!
I take giant bites of my sandwich and run back upstairs grabbing a bag and a jacket. I shove my wallet and a folded up list with a pen into my bag and wait. Just wait.
What was I doing panicking?
It wouldn't even be exactly 10 minutes. I sigh and get up from my couch and go up stairs getting my headphones.
Ping
No, he couldn't be. I calmly go down the stairs and walk to my phone.
Here -Andick
Okay, just act normal, it's a normal day. Definitely can't be awkward.
As I took my jacket and bag, slipping on some boots I stepped outside of my door and locked it.
I took a deep breath and turned around. He was parked on my driveway in a Benz. A Benz or course. I slowly walk down the steps filled with snow and awkwardly walk to car while trying not to get snow in my boots.
"Hey" I wave as I get in.
"Hey" he nods "So where to first?"
"Party City?" I say.
"Great" He replies as we back up out of my driveway.
This was definitely going to be a long and awkward day with him.
