Chapter 17

"Oh my god.........!" I exclaimed as soon as I saw what was in front of me. It was perfect. There were candles and flowers, red and white, and there was a mattress in the middle with all types of food, like a picnic. It was spectacular.

"Did I do something wrong? I knew it. I should have put all whit-" I shut him up by kissing him and he immediately replied.

"I love it and it is perfect," I exclaimed. He walked me to the middle and as soon as I was about to sit, I turned around and saw him on his knee. Is this fucking real or am I dreaming? I pinched myself but nothing happened. It is real! Ohh my god!

"The day I saw you at the party, I knew you were meant for me. You were so innocent and clueless about who I was. Sweet and kind and caring too. Determined, when you came storming into my office the other day. I fell in love with you the day I saw you at the bar and couldn't help but think about you. Trust me, I would never have bought your company if I knew you were the owner. I am sorry for putting you in danger and thankful for everything you've done for me. You make me want to be a better person and leave this life but once in the mafia, you cannot leave. I promise to keep you safe all time. Sarah Juliet Robinson, will you do the honor to be my beloved wife?" he ended, removing the ring box from behind him and opening it. In lay a beautiful diamond ring. Tears were already streaming out of my eyes. I nodded and he hugged me after sliding the diamond beauty into my empty ring finger.

"Yes," I said between my sobs. I didn't even know why I was crying.

"Hey! Don't cry tigru. Why are you crying?" he asked with concern.

"I don't know... I can't stop... Maybe because I never thought I'd be worthy of marrying someone as sweet as you. I never thought I'd be so blessed as to even meet you. I never thought I'd be loved unconditionally. I love you so much Fernando Matteo Rodriguez," I said between my sobs. It was like a fucking big mood swing.

"Shhh... I'm here," he cooed as we lay on the mattress and I cried more. I couldn't stop.

The tears stopped after a while and we sat there in silence seeing the night beauty. We looked at the constellations and I found out that he was just as intrigued by them as I. I found that unbelievable but then again, I never believed that the biggest mafia leader in the world could be such a big softie.
"I want ice cream," I said, as we finished dinner. Dinner was great and he had prepared it himself.

"Right on the way m'lady," he said, getting up and going to the kitchen to bring some ice cream.

"This is our last night together here. I want to make it memorable," he said after we finished eating the ice cream. He came to me and kissed me passionately. I kissed him back. It was soft, not the usual rough one. It was tender. He slid his tongue into my mouth. A soft moan escaped my mouth as his hands roamed up my belly to my breasts.

"Make it," I said between the kiss and he laid me down on the ground.

"I don't want to fuck you. I want to make love to you today tigru," he said, kissing my jawbone.

"Hmmm..." I moaned as he kissed my neck and hit the weak spot. He used it against me many times but I didn't mind it at all. He removed my dress and looked at my body.

"Commando? Thank god you didn't tell me otherwise I would have taken you right in the living room," he replied, and I giggled. I unbuttoned his shirt and took it off for him, going down to unbutton his pants. He helped me take them off.

"You too?" I smirked at him and he shrugged, pulling me into another kiss.

"Come on! Wake up you lazy ass!" I shouted at Fernando as I woke up with a smile on my face.

"Let me sleep! You don't want the plane to crash, now do you?" he mumbled.

"We'll be late," I mumbled back and he woke up.

"Shower together?" he asked with pleading eyes which I was immune to.

"No! If we do have it, we will definitely be late," I blushed.

"Come on! I won't touch you," he pleaded again and I finally gave in.

"Everything's packed, right?" I asked Ernie as we loaded the luggage.

"Yep!" he replied with a smile.

"Let's head home then," I said, kissing him lightly as he went to the pilot's seat.

He flew for a couple of hours before we reached the airport from where the pilot would take over. I was busy looking into a few business deals while he flew the jet. It felt lonely without him but the work kept me occupied.

As soon as we landed, Fernando came to me and kissed me like a hungry animal.

"Sarah Rodriguez has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?" he asked with a smile. He was acting like a teenager madly in love but I liked it.

"Yeah, but I'd prefer to keep it Sarah Robinson," I lied, acting to take the ring off.

"I fucked up, didn't I? I knew I had done something wrong. Please don't leave me. I'll fix whatever I have done wrong. Just-"

"I was joking... You should... your face..." I burst into a fit of laughter on seeing his worried and horrified face.

"You think that was funny!" he shouted and just then I heard a bang.
