LXVII:SIXTY-SEVEN : My Heart's Helper

"Bullsh*t." Jimin cursed as he kicked the wall in Yoongi's apartment and gripped the railings on the wall from the balcony.

He was crying while holding a bottle of soju. It was his fifth bottle.

"Jimin, you can't blame yourself for this. This is just an accident. We all know that you don't plan on having any kids yet since Jeongyeon is sick." Yoongi said

"You know that there are no things such accident. It was you who told us that right?" he said.

"I should have known better. I am the doctor, I know the consequences and I should have done what is right." he said in a tone of anger and disappointment as he gripped the railings tighter

He looked at Yoongi and Yoongi can see the anger, and disappointment in his eyes that later turned into sadness.

"And now, because of my ignorance and stupidity, my wife is in danger. We've been trying hard these past several months to cure her and for what?"

"For it to be thrown away just like that?!"

"Jim, you need to pull yourself together, now's not the time to be all disappointed and angry at yourself. You know how Jeongyeon can be affected by your emotions. She needs you now more than ever since she is sick and carrying a child." Yoongi advised and neared his friend.

He felt so pained seeing his friend like this. Its been a while since he last saw him like this...

Pained...

Disappointed...

Torn...

The last time he saw his friend this broken was when his parents died and how he hated it to see him with those wet eyes of tears and sorrow.

"I don't know what to do hyung." he cried

"I don't wanna lose her, she has to live. My daughter needs her...
I need her. I need her to continue her therapy. She can die if she stop her therapies." he cried.

"But you know Jeongyeon wouldn't agree, she will choose to save your child." Yoongi said

"I know that hyung. I just-,
I don't know what I am supposed to do." he cried and Yoongi let out an exhale and hugged his friend

Jimin cries loud as he hugged his hyung back.

He was so disappointed in himself. He knew the risks and yet he let it happen.

He felt so irresponsible. He wished that he could turn back time to not let things happen this way but, he knows, he can't do that.

Now, he knows what his grandmother always told them when he was a child.

Regret always comes in the end.

It would be very lucky if things happen in favour of their side but, life doesn't always go that way

He stayed in Yoongi's apartment drinking until he fell asleep.

Yoongi made sure not to drink so that he can bring this man home safely.

He gathered all the bottles and placed them in his kitchen and made Jimin stand up.

He got Jimin's arm and swung it around his shoulders as he assisted him as they walked.

Drunk Jimin has always been one of the things he always scolded but, in this case, he allowed him. Although he isn't experiencing something like this at all, he can feel the pain from his friend.
