XXXIX:THIRTY-NINE - His Reputation

"Eomma, halmeoni, Aliah, I am carrying our child. I've been carrying her or him for almost five weeks now." she announced

They were shocked and it took time before the absorb everything.

"You, you are going to be a mother?" her eomma asked

Jeongyeon nodded

Then, her eomma happily hugged her. She was so happy. She couldn't believe that she'll be halmeoni to her eldest daughter. Her halmeoni too was happy and thinking that she'll be able to meet her great grandchild is making her grateful especially that, the father of Jeongyeon's child is Jimin, a man she trusts

The Yoos congratulated the happy couple and they too are very excited for the child's birth.

Marcos and his men listening and watching them are also shocked.

The Yoos were happy but, Marcos was unhappy. He was enraged. Learning that Jeongyeon bears Jimin's child is making him want to go there and beat Jimin up. But, he got to keep himself cool before doing anything that may ruin their plan.

After learning Jeongyeon's condition, he went back to the car they used to follow the Yoos and then he punched the nearby tree over and over again. He was so angry.

Then, one of his men went to him

"What are we going to do now boss?" he asked

Marcos looked at him with fiery eyes of anger

"I will go back and you and these men make sure that your eyes are on them" Marcos commanded

"Yes sir." the man nodded in agreement

Marcos got his car keys and drove back to the city. He was so angry, he was driving at high speed and all cars that were on the road honked their cars because of his fast driving.

When he arrived in his apartment, he slammed his door shut and then through all the things he can get to the floor. Then he received a video call in his laptop from Mr. Yoo. He took deep breaths and answered it.

"Good evening, uncle." he greeted not looking at him directly.

Mr. Yoo noticed the anger in Marcos's look.

"I know that look, what happened?" he asked

Marcos looked at him and gritted his teeth and then exhaled.

"Jeo-jeongyeon is pregnant uncle." he stated

Mr. Yoo was in shock. He couldn't believe it. He was angry. So very angry. Thinking that her daughter really was determined to be with that guy  is making him more furious especially at his daughter. He will be having a grandchild from a man he hated for her.

"What?!" he slammed his fist on his table and stood up with his fiery eyes

"Yes uncle. For five weeks already. She's already experiencing cravings uncle. And your family is so happy with it." he informed

Mr. Yoo knew that Jeongyeon was keeping in touch with her mother and them going to her is not unexpected, he knew they will take this chance to visit her so, that is why he told Marcos to be on the lookout.

"Alright, I'll think of something. But, stay calm, just stay quiet." he said

"Yes uncle." Marcos said and then the call ended

Marcos went to his fridge and got a bottle of vodka to drink.
He spent his whole night drinking until he was knocked down by alcohol

For two days, Jeongyeon and her family bonded with each other. They did all the things they wanted to do and have fun and after that, it was time for them to go home. With a heavy heart they packed their things to go home.
