As soon as their eyes met, the other people seemed to vanish. Like, they are the only ones in this world
Everything was quiet and still until, the emcee spoke
"Good afternoon everyone, I would like to inform you that we would start in five minutes. Please proceed to your seats. Thank you." Ryujin's older sister, Yeji announced
Their stares were disturbed and Jeongyeon looked at the girls.
"Girls, I'll catch you later." Jeongyeon said to them and she looked at Jimin once again and just bowed to him as a sign of respect and she went to the seat in front.
The girls looked at Jimin and gave him apologetic smiles.
Jeongyeon was in shock and she wasn't ready to meet him.
Jimin was determined to talk to her and he really missed her so much
Jeongyeon kept her eyes in front to not see Jimin or at least not to see his stares.
Jimin was determined not to lose sight of her. He wished to see her for a long time and he couldn't miss this chance anymore.
He immediately sat behind the chair where Jeongyeon was sitting. The discussion went on but, both Jeongyeon and Jimin couldn't focus. Jimin was just looking at her the whole time and Jeongyeon can feel his stares and it makes her disturbed.
The representatives spoke in front for announcements and discussions and the other members asked questions related to the program and they were answered. The discussion went smooth but the wheels in Jeongyeon's brain were going crazy.
"On the screen are the places we will visit on our following Saturdays. For a start we will visit the home for the orphans like we used to before. After that, we will visit schools and homes in isolated places. This will be our first time this year and I hope that we will have fun and make other people smile through our donations. We will send you messages every Thursday evening to remind you of our schedules. You are free to invite other people as well, just please approach my sister Ryujin for registration." Yeji said in front.
"To our members, we thank you in behalf of our father. I hope we can go further this year and make more smiles. Because in this Association, we give and provide to those who are in need. Have a good day everyone and see you again." Yeji finalized
Everyone clapped, Yeji bowed and went off the stage. Jeongyeon immediately stood up from her chair and ran away. Jimin followed her and he kept on calling her.
"Jeongyeon, Jeongyeon!" he called out
They reached the exit of the venue and Jimin held her arm and made her face him, Jeongyeon felt nervous. She was expecting him to be so angry at her because she took Amaya and he never met his daughter all her life. She braced herself and looked at him
"Jimin."
Jimin couldn't believe it. She was back and she was in front of him. He couldn't contain the joy he felt anymore. He smiled widely and a tear of joy escaped from his eye.
"Jeongyeon."
He hugged her tight. Enclosed her in his arms. He never wanted to let her go. He waited for this moment for a long time and now here she is, back in his loving arms. Instead of ranting at her, he showed her how much he loves her through that hug.
Jeongyeon on the other hand was blank. Her mind was blank, she just stood there in his embrace. She couldn't do anything.
After some time, she gently pushed him because of the awkward situation. Jimin moved back from the hug and understood why she did that. He understood that she still felt awkward.
