You're Just Perfect (Castiel)

You're a friend of Jody and met the Winchesters and Castiel over the time. You're also a hunter but you had to take a step back because of your child. A newborn, sweet little girl. But one evening you had something important to do but none of your 'normal' friends or family members had time for babysitting. So you asked Dean if he or someone else could do that. He was also busy, Sam too, so he send Castiel to look after you and the kid. He arrived 5 minutes after your call ended. You smiled at him a little surprised. He is an angel after all, Jody once told you.
"Hello Y/N"
"Hello Castiel good to see you. I'm so glad and thankful that you're taking care of my small one. I'm trying to come back as fast as I can", you said while gathering all the stuff that you need.
"Take your time I got this but take care of yourself. It's more important that you come back completely. If you need any help call me right away I will be there. The other hunters are mostly on their ways so I'm the one who is always near", he said with a serious look on his face
"Thank you", you said smiling softly
"Goodbye sweetie I'll be back soon", you said to your daughter
After that you left with a good feeling. She's save with Castiel.

After you left Castiel only had eyes for your daughter. He thought that she looks so calm while she's sleeping. He walked around in your apartment to look around a little. As he was walking through a little hallway leading to your bedroom he heard crying from the living room. He went back immediately to look after her. She seemed sad but he sensed that she felt confused because she couldn't find you. He leans over so she could see him. She stopped for a moment but continued.
"No need to worry child. They will be back soon. I'm taking care of you", he said trying to calm her down. Sadly it didn't work so he picked her up and walked around with her. Slowly rocking back and forth until her crying stopped. 
"It worked. Good thing I asked Sam for some advise befor I left", Castiel mumbled
He walked back to her bed and laid her down slowly, hoping she wouldn't wake up again. He watched her for some time until he was sure she was asleep. To gibe her the feeling of not being not being alone he set down next to her bed and decided to wait there for you. While the time went by he thought about you and the little one. Hunters always help each other doesn't matter with what. He was a little worried about you living alone with the kid even though you're a skilled hunter. Unsure what to think or maybe do he called Dean and talked about his thoughts. Maybe it would be better taking the two of you with him so you could live save in the bunker with them. But he wouldn't make any decisions without asking you. Especially big decisions like moving together. So he waited.
As you returned he still sat on the same spot than the past 2 hours.
"Hey Castiel. Is she asleep?", you asked laying your bag next to the door as he nodded.  You came over to him and looked into the little bed were she was sleeping peacefully. You hugged Cas relieved.
"Thank you so much for watching over her. I couldn't have done this job without you."
"No need to thank me. That's what we do. Help each other", he said with a soft smile
"You're the best Cas. Just..perfect. Jody told me alone about you and the Winchesters. And I'm really happy we have you on our side of the team", you said  with a big grin
"I'm glad you think so Y/N."
