Silence was an element never found in Atlas. Soldiers shouted after finishing their training. Guns were fired in the air and the constant vehicle movements added to the noise.

A very loud noise approached as a huge flying bug machine equipped with machine guns came to view. The front door made of glass with the two sides opened revealing the military coloured helicopter as it landed near the airstrip which had the huge "H" printed in white paint.

"Special Agent Apex. I am Commando Jefferson in charge of transporting you. We are leaving ASAP," roared a voice from the already noisy helicopter which was only barely hearable enough for Apex to understand that it was his ride.

Taking a deep breath, he looked at the large glass transparent building he called home for the past several years and tried to grasp in each feature maybe for the last time. His fate no longer rested on his hands.

Running towards the rather huge helicopter, a hand extended to help Apex climb into it. Taking a seat in the mini grey chairs and locking his seat belt the helicopter, the fan on top began to spin faster and up they flew. Towards his front were two talkative pilots speaking about their coordinates while one looked at the radar. Millions of tiny buttons of different sizes and random colors filled the front of the pilots.

Rising into the air, the buildings all became tiny insects piled into a very beautiful city shining of greenery and blue. The Sun scorched, blasting the heat into the helicopter as they moved through the air.

Buildings disappeared; no sign of land was found as it was all deep blue. The waves continuously moved to their destination as the sun went down. Darkness began to pour on the sky and the redness of dawn was approaching.

"5 minutes and we are down," said the co-pilot as the helicopter started losing altitude. Slowly, it began to approach the land that was growing bigger by the second.

They landed on a very vast piece of land- all desert with dunes and heavy winds blasting the sand. No sign of life could be seem from a bird's eye view; only little black spots which grew longer stretching to form SUVs.

The earth began to tremble as the sand sprinkled around the landing strip, the loud noise back in full flesh as Apex removed his headphones that he had worn during the flight.

He jumped the narrow distance from the helicopter and landing safely on to the orange brown sand, almost too perfect due to his immense training.

Walking towards the army of black tinted SUVs, the helicopter flew away growing smaller as it disappeared into thin air leaving the whole sky nothing but a dark night with the light of the moon.

"Special Agent Apex, I am Agent Jade, Foreign Military Expert and in charge of all Atlas combatants reporting to duty. You will report to me at all times and only me," spoke a short man, stomach falling in such a way his belt makes a curve downwards. Saudi Arabian kings were his match on body and belly size except that he was whiter and had dark olive eyes with a few freckles on his face. Nothing about him gave a cop vibe but rather a mafia type man.

"Meet your partner in ISIS, the man recruiting you Abu Hureira. You shall join him at the border of Syria and Turkey, the town called Kilis, where he shall recruit you. You will have to choose a name for yourself as Apex gives away and so does Reyes. Abu Hureira was a man that fabricated Prophet's sayings and they like personalities such as that. It is even said that Abu Hureira wrote so many sayings of the Prophet that when you calculate mathematically it doesn't add up. That is how messed up they are and you need a name exactly like that," he continued to speak, pointing towards Apex's recruiter.

It was a man with scars all over his rough brown skin, one stretching from his cheeks to the end of the lips making him look scary. He had long hair and beard with the red scarf covering his face; with a brown robe that men wore with a belt. It was a traditional Arabian clothing. Sandals or slippers that have a closing at the heel was what he wore and his nails were jet black due to the dirt. If looks could deceive, he was doing a hell of a job.

Removing the red clothing or scarf that covered most of his face he smiled. "Hello Apex, I am Jack Ryan from Atlas, a hero apparently who is still living but not living. Let me tell you something. The last man survived a week before he got caught and beheaded. And the previous one ran away in three days upon his arrival to camp. Do not underestimate this mission." Ending what seemed like his motivational speech, he entered the SUV and left the site.

"You will be taken to the city. You are currently in Ankara, Turkey. Your flight leaves in thirty minutes," Jade said as he walked out. Only one left remained with a driver inside.

Rushing into the car, mainly due to lack of time and the need to catch a flight, Apex took no time to look at the surroundings except only after sitting in the car and grasping for oxygen as his heartbeat went back to normal.

The tinted black windows allowed him to enjoy the view of Ankara and not care about his clothing or his manner of sitting; the beautiful cafés were lined up in the street, lighting the area in yellow along with various restaurants; the smell of fresh chicken and meat surrounded his nostrils reminding of his golden days at KFC.

Fading away, each restaurant disappeared as a highway appeared with nothing other than a huge street poles with yellow lights on it and the asphalt road. Travelling for over ten minutes, a huge beautiful building came into view in a distorted angled height but the white spirals around the glasses made it precious. A huge bolded letters was written on it, 'Ankara International Airport;' it shined through the atmosphere.

He immediately boarded the plane, passing through the gate and into the large red plane with a small bird with large wings planted on its sides. The plane flew high up in the air towards his destination.

"Attention passengers. We have now landed in Kilis. The time is ten am. I hope you had a great flight and see you again next time in Ankara Airlines," spoke the air-hostess in the speakers as it was heard throughout the plane.

Going down the ramp, Apex followed the passengers into the gate to the entrance- it was a very small airport more like a building, old and fashionably late in appearance with white walls and a small hint of red with no designs or sculptures on it.

Grabbing the luggage and Apex went to the co-ordinates he had received by the driver.

A small five minutes walk was all it took to reach the village. It was filled with shacks and huts all made of mud or clay, and the roof of it all made of bamboos. It was all scattered around in a random way leaving little or no way to pass through the town.

Putting his hands into his pockets to take his flip phone out, he dialled the only number saved. "I am at the location, what to do next?" spoke Apex in a very low tone avoiding any suspicions or blowing of his cover.

"If you can't figure out a way to join, then how will you survive?" roared the same voice he heard at the desert from the scared man Jack Ryan. "Hello? Hello? Hello?" and the line was cut leaving Apex hanging.

"This is a bust," Apex told himself while kicking the small pebbles that laid on the sandy ground. Knowing that he had to find a way to join ISIS, he began to look at the people seeing little children gazing at him while smiling or laughing or men whispered to each other. He knew that they instantly recognised him as a foreigner.

Passing by with his head down avoiding eye contacts with the locals, Apex went on walking towards the only visible road he could find. A narrow pathway which lead to God knows where but it was his only chance at escaping the eyes and stares of the people.

Seeing that lowering his gaze had no effect, he began to speed up, pulling his legs to put an effort and jog only to stumble and hit a solid stone body. Raising his head to look at what he hit, he saw a huge bearded man, with scars on his face, huge dragon tattoos extending from his shoulder to his wrists and a beard extending down to his chest. "What are you doing white terrorist?" asked the very Taliban looking man in a thick arab accent.

"Assalamu Alaikum brother. I have come here to join you for Jihad," replied Apex.

A smile plastered on the face of the Taliban-looking man as he stretched his hand towards Apex to shake it. "Waalaikum Salam brother," were the last words he said before turning his handshake into a knuckle and connecting his fist to Apex's face knocking him out cold blood.
