Chapter 6: Call White House

"Sir, Atlas CEO is here to see you!" the secretary told Director Estes.

Motioning for her to bring him in by a flick of his fingers, she went on to bring the CEO.
The glass door opened to reveal the CEO in an army general clothing, his face not quite pleasant.

"You are interfering in my operation Estes!" shouted the CEO on top of his lungs while angrily rushing towards the chair. "Tracking my man is going to get him killed! I buried him yesterday and you want to follow him? Apex remains dead for good! Interfere in my mission again and I swear to God I will end the lives of you terrorists too!" he continued leaving no room for Estes to reply. Already red and his eyes raging with fire he left the office in a hurry wanting to have the last word and not miss his helicopter back to Atlas.

"How dare he speak to me, the Director of CIA this way! Call the White House and tell them to declare Atlas a terrorist organisation working against America! Now!" Estes roared through his receiver to his secretary, his mood no longer happy after the increasing pressure he receives daily from every Minister or MP.

"Grab him!" Harun barked to the two masked men.
The two guards went on to lock Apex and stand him up, chaining him then constantly punching him in his gut. The blood poured from the mouth as Apex coughed due to the immense pain.

Placing a blindfold covering his eyes, the two man went on to take him to the car awaiting outside.
Harun went on the passenger seat as Apex was put at the back.

The car roared to life, and went on crossing the streets to the right alley, passing by old houses made of mud and clay. Little children looked at the car in curiosity as their eyes followed the lights of the car.

Suddenly it stopped at an open field, green grass and tall olive trees scattered around the area. The two masked man opened the door grabbing Apex and carrying him following Harun.

Looking around to make sure no one was watching or following them, Harun walked around in circles for 10 minutes then stopped a small iron bar in the middle of the grass planes.

Pushing it with all his might and power, lifting the iron bar upwards a passage was visible. Going down the stairs towards the tunnel, Harun looked around once again following routine protocol.

The masked men entered first followed by Harun as he pulled the iron bar back into the ground closing the gates to the tunnel.
Yellow lights lit the path to their destination and they followed, orangish brown sandy walls carved with various sculptures with solid black tiles on the ground all throughout their way.

The small tunnel grew larger as they edged to the end to reveal a large noisy area, various men shouting in random languages and other grunting in pain as they are tortured for information.

Every department divided by cages but visible to everyone setting an example to the next victim going for questioning.

Setting Apex down inside one cell among many that had been placed there for new recruits. Harun removed his blindfold and calmly slapped his cheeks saying "Sleep well my friend, tomorrow you tell me the real story!"

Staring at the various computers placed in the room, the CEO looked in deep thought. "Sir should we turn it on?" asked one of the agents.

Shaking of his thoughts and taking a deep breath the CEO said "Change all frequencies, encrypt it with all the methods you know! Make sure the CIA can't find us this time! Then turn it on!"

Taking his phone out, and looking at the time it was late night and he was worried about Apex. Having heard nothing from his or Ryan for days, his ultimate plan seemed to be failing in front of his eyes.
