"Breaking News, U.S. President has declared Atlas as a terrorist organisation fighting against America. It is rumoured that the Director of CIA had a fall-out with Atlas's CEO." The voice of the anchor of the news filled the room.

"Shut it Tommy" ordered the CEO to his bodyguard. Tired of all the politics in play as he rested his head on the tips of his fingers with his eyes closed.

Being a terrorist organisation changed the whole operation, any agent found in the field can be captured or killed at first sight.

"What is the status of our asset?" asked the CEO. "Nothing yet sir, although we have heard that ISIS have strengthened their security system. It is said that they have found a mole and they want to out it by the help of their newly found partnership." replied Tom reading the passage on the file report that was placed on the table.

Picking up his phone and dialling a few numbers the CEO left his room to go to the corridor right next to his office. "What games are you playing here Estes? Terrorist us? How dare you put us up in that list! Do you know how many lives and operations you put in danger?" the CEO roared to his phone constantly, furious on the reaction the CIA had.

The cell cage opened allowing Apex to go out. Rising from his bunk bed, organising his sheets and pillow in place just like at Atlas. He looked at his bed once more disbelieving the fact that he left his luxurious life as Sergeant to being a cell mate to a random stranger.

Stepping his foot out, and taking a deep breath his heart skipped a beat after taking a look at his surroundings. Large space, filled with cages where various masked men stood as guards while others tortured prisoners for information.

The worst part was that some men smiled after the torture as they received a hug from the masked man that had previously beaten him brutally. The scenery twisted his guy and his eyes could not belief whether it was a dream or reality.

How can such people call themselves human? Let alone Muslims? The CIA and Mossad must have given them great training to remove every single ounce of humanity in them.
Apex wondered.

Not enjoying the look, Apex went back inside his cell. After being a soldier for many years he never once stumbled upon this situation, it was hard for him to digest reality.

"Mate, you ok there?" an Australian accent spoke up. Looking up at the young handsome man who seemed to be in his 20s, hair filled with dust and hands all dirty, Apex nodded not being able to speak.

"Are you sure? You look like you just saw a ghost?" asked the Australian voice again.

Understanding that remaining quiet was no longer a good idea, Apex decided to gather all his energy to speak up. "I just saw the worst nightmare of my life." replied Apex in a weak breaking voice.

The young man smiled for a while looking at Apex then spoke up "You will get used to it. If you want to survive you have to get used to it. I am Batista from Australia and you seem like a person who needs a friend."

It sounded strange to Apex, no one had used the word friend to him ever since he joined the army nor when he joined Atlas. A cold chill ran down his spine and his brain told him to not trust him.
"Don't trust anyone" - kept on repeating on his head by the same voice that told him he was going to be ok before he left.

"I am Apex, but here I am Muawiya. I am from America and yes I really need to get through this." replied Apex going against his instincts. He felt a kind of connection with this mysterious young man.

Trying to figure out why he feels a connection in the young man two masked men walked into their cell both with Ak-47 and a bamboo stick.

One of them began shouting in arabic and his temper started to grow. Growing frustrated at his attempts of poor communication he grabbed his stick and approached Batista. Raising it to the air ready to hit him hard but got stopped mid-air as Apex grabbed his wrists.

Turning his look from Batista to Apex, he grew very angry as fire filled his eyes, the other masked man was still looking at them but broke his silence when Apex was about to punch the man with the bamboo stick.

Moving forward towards his friend and Apex the masked man spoke to his friend in Arabic calming him down and taking him away from the cell.

The other masked man calmed down but kept on staring at Apex with venom and anger. "You are lucky Harun wants you alive." said the calm masked man to Apex as he took his angry friend out of the cell.

"Thank you mate! You saved me a hell of a beating today!" said an ecstatic Batista smiling.

Nodding to Batista as a way of saying no problem, Apex began wondering what Batista meant when he said today. Already in a train of thought the bell rang again to close the doors of the cell.

The lights went out and some masked men walked with torches checking each cell. Looking at his new friend he got protective of Apex went on closing his eyes as he lied on his bed trying to find some sleep.

"It seems like they learned their lesson. We ambushed them and made their organisation public." said Estes happy and smiling for the victory he got over a private security company to his superior the Vice-President of America who was the Former Director of CIA.

"Indeed it is a victory for us, we don't need private organisations destroying our own made terrorist organisation that we deploy in the Middle East. If Atlas makes a move on them we will no longer be able to keep the area in our control. The political unrest is key to our control of the gulf countries and ISIS helps us keep Syria busy enough to not support Iran. Great work Estes." replied the Vice President as he took a sip of his Chateau Margaux wine.

I hope you guys enjoyed this! Loads of drama in this one and in the ones coming! What do you think happens next? To Batista? Or Apex?
