"Oh hello Luke. My name is Mr. Mason. I will be your math teacher. Take your seat behind Rosette. Rosette raise your hand." The teacher said. To say I was surprised is kind of an understatement. I raised my hand and kept my head down, repeating in my head "don't recognize me" over and over again. I put myhand down when I heard him feet shuffling and a chair scraping the floor. I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I instantly knew it was him. I turned around hesitantly, cautiously lifting my head.

"Hey, I'm Luke, but you probably already knew that, since I introduced myself you to the whole class," he said rubbing the back of his neck. He seemed nervous. I almost laughed. From what I know, he's never nervous. He’s always so confident and cocky. I try to hide the smile that wants to escape my face.

"M-my n-na-name i-is Ross-" I was cut off by the teacher starting the class. I pretended to stutter, just so he won't know it's me. The class ended with him not talking to me during the class. As soon as the bell rang, I ran out the classroom and head to the only class I had with my brother and Julie, English. I practically ran up to them in the classroom.

"Aaron!! Guess what!!" I practically yelled. I stood in front of him, panting. "He is in my math class!!" Then suddenly I feel Aaron tense up, and he was looking at something behind me, or someone. I turn around and see Luke there, talking to the teacher. He didn't hear me, and I was glad for that. I put my hood up and kept my head down. Aaron seemed to have remembered that I said his name and looked down at me.

"Sorry Rosie. What did you say?" He asked me.

"I said, that he is in my math class." His eyes hardened.

"Don't do anything. He didn't recognize me." I said trying to calm him down. He is way too overprotective, but I love him anyway. We are actually really close. My brother is the person I trust the most. If I can't trust him, I can't trust anyone. That's how it works. He relaxed just a bit and we sat down in our seats. We sat in the back and I saw Luke walking up to us.

"Hey, you never got the chance to finish telling me your name." he said. I opened my mouth to speak when the bell rang. Luke dropped down to the seat in front of me. I was kinda relieved the bell rang, but was slightly panicking when he sat in front of me. I turned to Aaron and saw him looking at me worriedly. I smiled reassuringly to tell him that I'm fine. He just sighed and turned to the front. I looked over at Julie and she was just staring at me with a confused expression on her face. I just shrugged and when I looked back down at my desk I realized that there was a note sitting on it. I opened it and it said:

“Hey, you seem pretty cool. We should hang out after school today, if you’re not busy.

~Luke

I just stared at it in shock. Why do I get the feeling that he has recognized me? Maybe I should ask Aaron. The bell rings and I start heading out to my last class. My last class is music. When I got there I sat down in my seat by the window. I suddenly I feel a presence next to me and is surprised to see Luke sitting there grinning wildly at me.

“Um.. What’s with the creepy smile? You look like you know something,” I asked him suspiciously. His grin got wider and he has a mischievous glint in his eye, making me wary of him.

“Anyway, are we gonna meet up after school?” He asked me.

“I’m not sure. I have to ask my brother though,” I told him.

“That’s fine,” he said nodding. “I wonder what he’s planning.” I thought to myself.
