After Rose walked ahead of us (Julie and I), I walked up to a bunch of friends. We were catching up, when I suddenly see Rose looking at me with panic in her eyes. I excused myself away from my friends. I walked up to her with concern.
"What's wrong Rosie?" I asked her using the nickname I use for her.
"I can't believe it. I just can't believe it," Rose said in a whisper. She seemed to be in a trance.
"What can't you believe?"
Rose looked up at me with tears brimming her eyes.
"He's back."
I feel anger rising in me, and I stiffen. I can't believe that the bastard is here, especially after what he did to my sister. He hurt her so much. It's his fault she has walls built around her. I'm the only one who can get through that, and Rose never even dated anyone after that. She doesn't trust anyone but me. She doesn't even trust dad as much. I'm just happy she lets me in. I clench my fists. He better hopes I don't see him.

I feel Aaron stiffen and fee his anger as if it were my own. I see his fists clench. I can tell he wants to hit something, or more specific, him. I put a hand on his shoulder to calm him down. He looks down at me with fire in his eyes. Just then I realize how tall he was. He stood at about 6' 4" with blonde hair and blue eyes. In many girls eyes, he is hot. He also has a six pack, I've seen it. I am short, compared to him, but pretty tall. I am about 5'9" with blonde hair and blue eyes. I guess we look kinda alike.
"No, Aaron. Don't you dare get into a fight just to get even for me. I have a plan, don't you worry. That plan includes going to the mall, and you, are coming with me." I told him. His eyes soften.
"Do I have to?" He fake whined.
"yes. Now stop whining," I said. I spun on my heel, and walked towards my class.

Classes went by and it is now lunch. Luckily, he hasn't been in any of my classes so far. I bought my lunch and sat down in my usual seat next to Aaron. We were chatting when suddenly, the whole cafeteria became silent. I looked passed my brother and see him with a dark haired bimbo. I hid behind my brother so that he won't see me. It's not like he'll recognize me. I look totally different from four years ago. Aaron tensed up again as if knowing what was going on. I put a hand on his arm to calm him down. He relaxed just a little bit but his eyes were still hard with anger. I ate my food silently praying that he won't see me and recognize me.
The bell signaling the end of lunch has ended. I walk to my locker to get everything I need for my next four classes. I close my locker shut and walk to my math class. I sat down in the back. The teacher came in as the class became full. Then suddenly the door burst open just as the bell rang. Everyone stared at the newcomer, and I had to stifle a gasp. Its him!!
"I'm so sorry I'm late. I'm new and I got lost," he said. I had my head down to keep him from seeing me and recognizing me. I don't think he can recognize me anyway.
"'What's your name, sir?" The teacher asked him. I kept my head down as if I was paying attention to the worksheet in front of me.
"I'm Lucas Hall, or Luke for short." I internally shudder at the sound of his name.
I still can't believe he's back.
