The weekend rolled by fast, and Aaron and I had finished my bike. I dressed in a low cut white tank top with dark skinny jeans and a faded denim jacket. I wore my high heel boots. I had the keys to my bike in my hand and Aaron waiting by it. I revved it up and drove it to school, my brother hugging my waist. It seems awkward, I know, but you get used to it. As soon as I got to school the whispering and pointing began, but not in a bad way. I took off my helmet and let my long blonde hair fall down my back. I didn’t wear my glasses since I never needed it anyway. I see a certain brown haired boy smirking at me. He came up to me, his smirk getting bigger.
“Well, seems to me you can follow directions pretty well,” he said his smirk bigger than ever. I narrowed my eyes at him. “Does it feel good to be back to your old self?”
“I didn’t really like my old self. Plus, being my old self makes me remember my awful times with you. It’s five months I will never get back,” I retorted.
“You love me. Don’t deny it. Face it, you want me back. All those dates we had, the times where we would just sit and talk in your room, those aren’t something you just forget,” he said with an even bigger smirk, if that were possible.
“Ugh, I hate you,” I huffed as Aaron and I just walked into school. I could feel many eyes on me; the guys looking at me with lust and the girls with hate. I hate these clothes. My “nerdy clothes” were much more comfortable. I have to admit, even when I was in my old school, I was a nerd on the inside. The only difference then was the fact that I was considered the “biker girl” or the “bad ass girl,” just because I was wearing slightly more revealing clothes, and because I rode my bike to school. Being a nerd was a nice change. Less people paid attention to you, and I finally got to be myself. Now the guy that broke my heart is here, and made a bet with me. Did he forget all the times that he lost a bet to me? Seriously. He must have hit his head really hard or something. He is definitely going to lose. I walked down the hall talking to Aaron until we had to separate. I said good bye and walked to homeroom. I was met with my one and only, Julie Marian Robins, my best friend, and she looked pissed.
“Hey, Jules. What’s up?” I asked nervously.
“What the hell is with you!? We haven’t hung out in days, and suddenly you look like that? What happened to you?!” I winced slightly at her outburst. I haven’t told her anything about Luke.
“I’ll tell you later. How about you come over after school? You can ride on my bike with me,” I suggested nervously. Her scowling face quickly turned into a smile. This made me less nervous. I gave her a wide smile back.
“So, I get to ride your bike? Your most awesomest bike ever?” she asked excitedly, causing me to laugh.
“Yes, you can, and I don’t think awesomest is a word,” I told her.
“I don’t care,” she shrugged. We linked arms as we head to our first period.

It was finally the end of the day. Thank God. School is just so stressing!! Jules and I met at my locker and we head to my bike together. We saw Aaron and Caiden talking by his car.
“Hey bro,” I greeted him. He just gave me a slight nod. “Can Caiden give you a ride home? I promised Jules that I’d give her a ride on my bike. Plus, I have a lot of explaining to do”
“Sure, I can give him a ride, and I have got to say, you clean up nice,” Caiden said giving me a wink. I glared at him and Aaron smacked the back of his head. He winced and rubbed the back of his head while Julie and I burst out laughing at his pained face.
“What was that for, man?” Caiden exclaimed.
“That’s my sister you’re talking about,” Aaron answered.
“So? I’m just surprised at her new look. I mean come on. For four years she has been this nerd, and suddenly she looks like a hot chick. Plus, you know me. I’m a hot guy she’s a hot chick,” Caiden said. This earned him two smacks on the head, one from Aaron and the other from me.
“First of all, I will never go out with a douche like you. Second, you’re my brother’s best friend,” I told him.
“I am not a douche,” Caiden mock protested. I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior.
“Sure, you’re not,” I said sarcastically. I grabbed Julie and dragged her to my bike before Caiden could say something more. I got on and hurriedly drove to our house.
