"We think that our unsub has a delusion that they are Jesus Christ," Spencer explained over the speaker phone to the rest of the team. "They believe that they were put on the Earth to bring justice to the unseen, or the impossible. Our victims, they all seemed perfect, right? They think they're doing justice to everyone because...well, as Logan said earlier, they were too good to be true."

"So what kind of person are we looking for?" Derek asked.

Logan grinned. "I'm glad you asked, Big D. Our person can be either a man or a woman, but it's likely that they are a male, seeing as it takes a lot of strength to haul someone up on top of a large wooden cross."

"I'm sorry, did you just call me Big D?"

"I sure did," Logan replied, her grin as big as ever. "It feels weird to call you Derek, because I don't really know you like that, and I'm not a big fan of calling people by their last names. Too professional for me, you know?"

"Focus," Hotch's voice interrupted.

"Right, sorry," apologized the teenager. "Your unsub is likely very strong, and probably very arrogant. They're cocky, they believe that they are the center of everyone's world. Like the most extreme of narcissists. And, they're religious. Excessively."

Logan leaned back in her chair with a sigh, having done what she came to do. She wanted to get credit for her work, and that's what she did. "Thank you, Logan. We've also come to the conclusion that they are left-handed by the positions of the nails. We can't make it in time for the briefing, we still have a few things left out here to do. Spencer, JJ will be there soon to help." Hotchner ended the call promptly, leaving Spencer and Logan at the messy desk with their evidence spread across it.

Logan stared into space, her fingers twisting the rings. Spencer watched her and her mannerisms. She had five rings in total, three on her left and two on her right. They were all silver, only two with jewels on them.

As Spencer continued to study her, he noticed that she only twisted one specific ring. It was a silver band with a purple alexandrite jewel in the center. He recognized that it was a birthstone, one that fit into Logan's birthday that was in June.

Even though she seemed to be staring at nothing, Spencer could recognize the look in her eyes that showed a million different things going on in her mind, most of which wouldn't be able to be put into words easily. She didn't even look like she was thinking about the case anymore.

"That's a lot of rings," Spencer finally remarked. Logan looked up, still partly in her daze. "Does that one mean anything?" He pointed at the ring with the alexandrite.

Logan smiled, finally paying attention. "Oh, uh, yeah. This one was my mom's. Most of them are, actually. Makes me feel closer to her, you know?"

Spencer couldn't help but smile and nod. She was starting to become more and more vulnerable around him, slowly more comfortable around the team as well. Spencer knew that she was hiding something about her past, he just didn't want to push too much. If anyone, he knew how painful the past could be.

Logan stood up with her phone in hand. "I need to call Garcia, I'll be right back."

Spencer watched the teenager walk out of the busy room and out into the much emptier hallway outside. She dialed Garcia's number and waited for the woman to pick up. As she waited, her foot tapped anxiously on the ground.

"Supreme Genius of the F.B.I., how may I help you?" Garcia's chirpy voice answered.

"It's me, Logan. I need you to search all the backgrounds of the victims again. I'm not saying that you missed anything, but I just want you to double-check it."
