Leorio has always thought of himself to be straight. Of course he didn't have anything against people that weren't, but he's just always been attracted to girls and never any guys. Kurapika, Gon, Killua, (y/n), and himself were all staying at heavens arena since they al had their own rooms there and nothing else to do for the time being. The group met (y/n) in YorkNew when they all decided to meet up a bit after the hunter exam and ever since then (y/n) has just always been part of the group, and Leorio has always had an eye out for him.

Kurapika heard a knock at his rooms door and got up to open it. When he did, he saw the soon to be doctor his his hands shoved in his pockets. "Oh, Leorio. Do you need something?" Leorio looked left and right to make sure no one else was in the halls. "Yeah, can I talk to you about something?" He seemed really sketchy, but Kurapika still let him in his room since he knew he could trust his friend.

Leorio took a seat on Kurapika's bed and shortly after Kurapika sat down next to him. "Leorio, are you alright? You're acting weird." Kurapika asked in his calm voice. Leorio looked up at his friend as his hand fidgeted together. "Yeah, I need your advice on something." Kurapika have him a nod, signifying that he was listening. "Well, for a while now I've liked (y/n) a lot, she's pretty cute. And I wanna ask her out, but I don't know how." Once he actually said it he seemed a lot less nervous.

Kurapika stared at him for a moment. "What-" and his confusion confused Leorio as well. "What? You think she's not into me?" He questioned, slightly offended. "Uh, (y/n)'s a guy." Kurapika stated bluntly. Leorio was confused for a moment. "Wait- WHAT! SinCe wheN?!" his voice started cracking in his sentences. "Since like, the day he was born." Kurapika paused for a second. "Wait- you actually thought (y/n) was a girl?" He chuckled a bit. 

"Well duh! What do I dO now!?" Leorio stood up and had a mixed emotion of panicked and confused. "Well, you could just tell him how you feel and see if he'd like to go out sometime. That seems like the easiest and most simple way" Kurapika shrugged. "No, like- should I still ask him?" Leorio sat back down on the bed. "Well why wouldn't you? You like him right?" Kurapika cocked a brow.

"Well yeah but like- I'm not gay" Kurapika laughed again. "Well you don't seem like you're straight either. And besides, you can like both." Leorio stopped his fidgeting and looked up at Kurapika. "You can?" Kurapika got kind of worried. "Yeah, it's called being bisexual. Did you seriously not know that?" At first Leorios ignorance was funny, but now it was weird that he didn't know about this. I mean, isn't it just basic information?

"No I didn't know about it! I wasn't taught this kind of stuff." Leorio seemed really panicked, so Kurapika tried to calm him down. "Let's just focus on one thing at a time; do you like (y/n)?" He asked. Leorio nodded. "Do you want to date (y/n) even though he's male?" Leorio thought to himself for a moment, but still nodded his head. "Then you should ask him out, see where it goes." Leorio smiled. "Yeah, I guess you're right, I'm gonna go ask (y/n) out!" He jumped up from Kurapika's bed and marched out of his room. 

Once Leorio was gone, Kurapika couldn't help but laugh. Did he really not know (y/n) was male?
