they were finally allowed to go see ale

the parents went in first
making sure that their child
their baby
their son was okay

then it was the boys turn

the four of them went in at the same time

they couldn't wait to see their friend
their brother...

they exchanged hugs making sure ale was okay

they then took various seats around the room
and began to bombard alejandro with questions

the poor boy couldn't keep it together anymore

he felt as if it were his fault
all his fault...

the boys had never seen alejandro cry
this was how they knew it had to be serious

alejandro then began to talk through this sobs

"we should have been there"

"we should have been there for kai"

"it's all my fault"

"how could i not see"

"i'm so fucking dumb and caught up in myself he had to suffer all by himself"

"i wasn't there to help him"

mattia then interrupted "ale what happened?"he asked as tears began to for in his eyes worrying for his best friend

ale shook his head not wanting to put kairis business out there

"broken so broken" was all alejandro said before his cries took over his body and he began to shake

if the boys weren't worried before
they were now

ales parents came back in telling the boys that the doctor had news on kairi and they were waiting on them

the boys rushed out of the room making their way back to the waiting room standing next to kais parents

the doctor then began to speak

"i'm sorry that it took us so long to reach you but your son received severe nerve muscle and vein damage we spent the past couple hours basically trying to put your sons arm back together and we won't know for a bit if it will be fully functional or not"

by the time the doctor was finished talking tears were falling and mouths were agape

the doctor then told them that they could go see the boy as he had been up for awhile as he was being monitored

they nodded and followed the doctor to their sons room as the boys looked at each other
with eyes full of tears

as his parents entered his room

then it started

it started all over again

they couldn't even give the boy time to recover not even a day...
as they pressed at him and yelled at him
lowering the boys self esteem even more that it already had been

they made their way back to the waiting room telling maiya that she could go see her brother

but she didn't want to go alone so she asked mattia if he could go with her

he nodded his head yes in response as they made their way to the small boys hospital room

they walked in seeing him hooked up to various machines

the even smaller girl couldn't take it anymore

she finally broke

"why kairi? why would you do this again?" she asked "you promised" she continued as the tears fell from her rosy cheeks onto the floor

the statement "again" had confused mattia
but he decided not to say anything about it yet

kairi finally looked up at maiya and responded "i just wanted to feel again maiya, i'm not happy here" he said sorta smiling and tears fell from his eyes
"i would hate the idea of leaving you with those people but, my last hope the last person i thought gave a single shit about me in this world gave up on me, they treated me like i was invisible, like i was a ghost and i just wanted to feel something, i'm so so sorry maiya i really am" he finished

at his point she was sobbing loudly and mattia had tears trailing down his face

" how did i not notice what my best friend was going through" he thought

the taller boy then decided to speak up
"what did she mean by again kairi?" he asked with his tone serious

"don't worry about it matti-" he began to say as he was cut off

"kai cut the bill shit okay? please? now what does she mean by again?"mattia pleaded

kairi pinned his mouth shut

so maiya decided to speak up

"he hung himself from the ceiling a few weeks ago and mom and dad found him and cut him down" she said as she left the room

mattias mouth was left agape

and before he could say anything more on the situation

the boys walked in
