three o'clock had rolled around

no sign of kairis parents

three thirty

nothing

four o'clock

nada

four thirty

they still weren't there

kairi watched as the clock struck five thirty

his parents finally busted through the door

they said they were busy clearing up things with his school

but all kairi could smell was the sweet strong scent of syrup

he was wheeled out to the car by his nurse as he was still weak

he knew his strength wouldn't be back for awhile

during the car ride home his parents coached him on what to tell his fans family and friends

that nothing happened
he just needed a "break"

all the boy did was nod after the conversation was finished by his mother telling him that
"he better not try that bullshit again"

they finally made it home

kairi weakly opened the car door
stumbling inside

barely being able to make it to his room

he opened his door seeing that the noose was now gone
all the pictures and posters were stripped from his wall
his bed sheets were now one plain color

his room was completely stripped
they boy didn't know why
or even where most of his belongings were

his gaming set up was also gone
the only things that remained on his desk were his phone and ipad

damn
the boy thought to himself

shortly after the boy took a seat on his bed
his mother barged it telling him to go live
to let his supporters know that he was fine and that it was just a break

he opened up his phone placing it into the ring light that his mother had brought up and pressed the live button for instagram

as people began joining the stream kairi put on the fakest smile he could muster

"hey guys i'm back" he said to the live
any normal person would say that his voice was off but nobody commented about it

the comments began flooding in from his fans and friends
asking him
where he was
why he wasn't to school
why didn't go live on twitch
why had he been ignoring people

"guys guys calm down i've just been stressed lately and i needed a break from everything" he said to the live

oh how i had wished it worked he muttered to himself
