all that could be seen was white socks dangling

all that could be hear were the police dogs barking as they picked up the scent

crowds and search groups were alerted

they all came together to see what had been found

people dropped down to the cold forest ground as the sight they saw was horrendous and terrifying

there hung the small boy from a tree
shirt less
pants less
only white socks and white underwear was on the boys body
and his backpack lying against the tree

his body showed horrible bruises from his previous injuries

his neck hung to the left side

some would even say he look peaceful

the fire department was called

their sirens blazing into the silence of the woods them running and rushing to get the boy down

the police ushering people away and taping up the crime scene and securing evidence

this was a very dreadful day
