Italics is something spoken in Norse.

The gods helped train their children for battle. Most campers hadn't ever gone on a quest. But Jake was teaching them about the monsters they would face and how to fight them. "Hel is trying to start Ragnarok. She will do anything to ensure her victory. Her army will show you no mercy. I have gone through the necessary training to fight this. You have not," Jake said, "we will try to help you the best we can but it is all up to you. We do not know when this battle will happen, so we must prepare as fast as possible. Now go to your assigned stations." They all left, leaving Jake to try and look for his missing best friends. Luke and Rosa walked in. "How's the search going?" Rosa asked. "Badly. I have no idea where they are or who could've taken them." They all sighed after a week of no progress.

Elsewhere, Atreus woke up on a dirty floor across from Freydis. "Freydis? Are you okay?" She groaned in response. Suddenly, the door opened showing five Jotnar. Two of them put Freydis in a chair and tied a rope around her, despite Atreus' protest. The other three held Atreus as a ghost like figure appeared before them, who Atreus knew was the King of Jotunnheim, his great grandfather. "Hello Atreus. I believe you know who I am, Thrym. But I bet you don't know that I cannot access Midgard in person. So my minions have found a way. I am able to possess a direct descendant of mine and I had my half human daughter for the purpose of mating with Thor. But my granddaughter is dead and my daughter is on Jotunnheim. You, however, are on Midgard, so I will possess your body to speed up our plans. Plus you are the Prince of Jotunnheim. Be prepared and I would like your girlfriend to witness this. Hold him still." Atreus started to struggle by he couldn't stop Thrym. His body collapsed out of their grasp onto the floor as he started to writhe around in pain. His veins popped out and turned an icy blue as did his irises and the white of his eyes turned black. He stood up and stretched, visibly taller. Thrym laughed in his deep voice. He then played with Atreus' growing hair. "Hm. This body will well," he then summoned Atreus' sword, "very well." Then he left with the other Jotnar.

Thrym, in Atreus' body, was able to enter camp without difficulty, sword in hand. As he approached the Big House, Chiron saw him and called his name. He stopped and turned as everyone gathered around them, "hello Chiron." They were surprised by his voice and height change. "Where is Freydis?" "She is safe for now. I can't believe you haven't noticed. Or recognized my voice." "What are you talking about?" "This is Atreus' body. But look at my eyes old friend." Chiron's eyes widened, then turned to a glare, "Thrym." Jake walked forward, "what did you do to my uncle?" I occupie his body now, Lokison. He isn't dead. He will gain control once I find a way to get my own body into Midgard. Your father speaks of you." Zoe yelled out, "why are you here?" "To warn you. My army and I will attack the mortal hospital. Do not interfere!" A demigod, they recognized as a child of Demeter, appeared in his hands. He raised his sword and slit her throat. Many cried out no's but the damage was done. "Now you know I'm serious. Goodbye old friend." Then he left as Freydis appeared in his place.

They saw Thrym on the news. "He killed seven people. We have to do something." Freydis said. "You heard his warning." "He killed a camper and innocent people." James argued. "He isn't himself. We have to help him." They all agreed to go stop Thrym. When they got there, Thrym was fighting several police officers, covered in others' blood. Once all were dead but one, they called his name. The King smirked and turned to face them before stabbing the officer. "What's this? Come to save your friend? I warned you." They ran at him, weapons drawn. They were defeated in a matter of seconds, except for Freydis, who didn't back down. Their swords clashed until he disarmed her. He gripped her neck, but she managed to say, "Atreus. I know you're in there. You won't do this. You can fight this. We can, together. Because I love you." Tears were streaming down his face as he struggled to not kill her. He started yelling at himself to kill her. He eventually dropped her and his sword, putting his hand on his head. He screamed in pain as his veins returned to normal as did his eyes. Freydis ran to comfort him. Hel appeared out of nowhere, smiling. She raised her hand and they all appeared at the Bifrost. She opened the portal to Helheim and pushed Freydis in. Atreus grabbed her hand and extended one of his chains that attached to the gate as Hel vanished. "You have to close it. The monsters will get out." "No. We aren't letting you go down there," Jake yelled but no one was able to get to them. "Jake, you know how time works there, tell them tha-!" He didn't get to finish as he was sucked into the portal. The portal to Helheim, a place of never ending cold and frost, a place of unimaginable dangers. Jake knew they would be very different. They immediately closed it. But they didn't know when or if they would see their friends again.

Next chapter I make up something to do with Helheim for character development so I just wanted to clarify that. Freydis and Atreus will change a lot during the next chapter. Please comment any constructive criticism, vote, tell others. I have decided to have Freydis end up with Atreus, please respect my decision even if you didn't want that. Please comment suggestions as I don't really know how to write fight scenes and there will be a lot of those next chapter. There will also be some mild torture scenes, I will not make them too intense as I'm not that kind of writer. Thank you. Stay safe.
