The Son of Kratos

Chapter 1

This is my first story so please be nice in the comments. All rights go to Rick Riordan and whoever owns God of War, except for my characters and stories.

A 14 year old boy runs through the woods being chased by a massive dog with glowing red eyes. He had short brownish blonde hair and blue eyes and was wearing black shorts and a Beatles shirt. He stumbled over a branch, falling over. As he turned to face the monstrous hound, a girl his age, with long, messy blond hair and sea green eyes, appears behind him, brandishing a bow and arrow. She lets an arrow fly towards the beast, impaling it as it jumped at the boy. Instead of a body, a pile of gold dust hit the ground in front of him. He looks up at her, a surprised look on his face. "Maybe a son of Zeus?" Says the girl, confusing him more, "follow me." She starts to walk away. He gets up, glancing back at the gold dust, but decides to follow her. "What do you mean a 'son of Zeus'?" "You don't know what you are? Are you missing your mother or father?" "Both. I grew up in the foster system." She stopped and turned to him in sympathy. "I'm sorry you had to grow through that."

They fall into silence as they keep walking to the unknown destination. "Zoe." "What?" "My name is Zoe." They smile at each other. "Atreus." "Where did that name come from?" she said with amusement. "I was told I was named after my father's best friend." "We're almost there." They rose over a hill to see camp with cabins, a lake, an arena, a climbing wall. Zoe asked, "Do you have ADHD and dyslexia?" "Yes." "Can you understand old languages?" "Greek and Norse." "AND Norse?!?" Zoe responded, her face taking a look of surprise. "Yes, is it weird?" "To speak both of them? Yes. Hmmm. This is irregular. We must speak to my parents." "Where are we?" "Oh right! Sorry, this is my first tour. Welcome to Camp Half Blood, Sanctuary of All Demigods. Like me and you." Atreus fainted. "Why does this always happen?" Zoe remarked. 

Zoe Jackson stood there with an unconscious Atreus in front of her. Her best friend, Bianca Solace, walked over with her dad, Nico. She saw the boy on the floor, she locked eyes with Zoe and shared a knowing look. She then gasped as she saw blood spread from his side. Nico knew this happened often and sighed, knowing he had to shadow travel them to the healer, his husband Will. He travelled them, where Bianca and Will got prepared to treat Atreus. Zoe was by the door when Bianca's boyfriend, Sammy Valdez, walked in looking for Bianca with their friends, Charles Jackson, Luke Jackson, Rosa Valdez, Max Rodrigues, Silena Grace, James Stoll and Maya Zhang. They didn't know what to think of the bleeding teen in front of them. They turned to Zoe for an explanation. "He's the new demigod," she said. Charlie asked, "whose his parent?" "I have no idea." "None at all?" piped James. "Uhh, guys i have to show you something," Bianca suddenly spoke. They walked over to her to see the deepest stab wound ever. "How is he alive?" Silena asked. Will said, "We don't  know." The teenagers walked out to see their parents. 

Percy and Annabeth Jackson. Leo and Calypso Valdez. Chris and Clarisse Rodrigues. Jason and Piper Grace.  Travis and Katie Stoll. Frank and Hazel Zhang. They all looked at their kids with disappointment except Percy, who was trying to get Annabeth to tell him what's going on. "All of you are grounded." Yelled Annabeth. The kids sputtered out 'why's. "That kid needed help but you were with your boyfriend or girlfriend." They all blushed. Bianca and Sammy looked at each other. Luke and Rosa looked at each other. Silena and James blushed. Maya and Charles looked down and blushed.  Max glanced at a son of Apollo in the arena and blushed. "Can you at least wait until after Capture the Flag?" asked Charles. Before others could say no, Percy said "ok. We can at least let them play it." 

Nico walked out of the infirmary saying Atreus is awake. Luke said "let's go meet Zoe's boyfriend." "HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Zoe yelled in response. Percy and Annabeth went to greet Atreus. "Hi, welcome. We are sorry you had to spend you life in foster care, but now you have a family now." He smiled at the word. "Now kids, lets go play some capture the flag." Percy yelled. All they kids grinned as Atreus gulped. 

Hi. I want to say thank you for reading my book. Vote, comment your suggestions but most of the story is already planned out. By the title i think you can guess who Atreus' dad is (he will be claimed next chapter plus meeting on Olympus) but who is his mother? All will be revealed.
