Aiya Akutosha knew that these past few weeks were almost too good to be true.

And now that it was finally Saturday, the girl was allowed to wallow in her sorrows alone, simply without burdening anyone.

She never understood her break downs. That's why Aiya always hid them, not that anyone actually cared enough, because she herself wasn't able to explain it to someone else. Not when she can't even explain it to herself.

And it was only her fault no one seemed to care. It was her fault she lived alone, the girl drove her own mother and father away, making it seem like she wasn't even their daughter anymore.

That loneliness built up.

Sooner or later, all of the built up emotions would just crash down on her at random times, her thoughts would constantly run wildly in her mind, never slowing down to let her process them.

Just like now.

The upset girl stood in her small bathroom, clutching the sides of the semi-clean sink trying desperately to hold herself up. Her upper body heaved up and down drastically.

She just couldn't seem to catch her breath.

And the worst mistake she could've made was looking up and into the spotted mirror in front of her. The sight scared her. Frightened her, really.

The girl in the mirror was her, but somehow different. Worse than what she would have expected. Her hazel eyes were now dull and red from the tears that spilt earlier. The same tears that left streaks down her cheeks.

Her cheeks drooped down down mainly due to the dark bags under her eyes. Sleep was hard to find when your thoughts never gave you a chance to relax.

'Why am I still here?' The right side of her brain said, while the left brain would ask, 'why not go back to the bridge?'

'Shut up!' She'd try to yell at them but it was to no avail. The girl was desperate. She gripped her left arm, digging her nails into her soft skin. It was the only way to convince her that she was, in fact, awake and this wasn't some sad nightmare of her past.

Because of course, this wasn't the first time this has happened to her. Didn't matter how many times a month her anxiety would get to her. She hasn't been able to find an effective way to calm herself down. She's always needed someone's help.

'If only my brother was here.'

Her brother, as if she needed to think of him right now. Sure, he always knew how to calm her down and get her spirits up again.
