He pointed at the dots that are representing Reyzenar and Reiynia.

They felt every bump on the brown mounds of clay beneath their thin footwear. The smallest among them, started falling behind and was heavily panting. When Eirisinia looked back she saw Zeirio pale and out of breath. Sweat slid down his forehead and seeped into the front of his clothes.

"He must have been so dependent of his ability that he kept using it subconsciously before," a voice intruded her mind. "Now that he can no longer use his ability, he has reached his limit."

Regardless, he must be feeling tired and exhausted.

Flashes of her past came flooding back. A memory popped up of when she was just a child trying to fend off assassins, day after day. Without rest or without a drop of water, she escaped them all and even before catching her breath, another would appear. They were relentless and did not hesitate to harm a child. When she felt every part of her body was about to give up, she closed her eyes and hoped that her pursuers would leave her alone. Hiding in corners and holding her breath.

"Zeirio stop," she comanded with a gentler tone as she held both his shoulders.

The boy looked at her and continued to take in heavy breaths. She kneeled infront of him, with her back facing him and said, "I know you are tired, get on my back and I shall carry you."

"But," he paused with every word to catch his running breath, "You're tired as well aren't you."

As those words entered her ears, she noticed her aching muscles and throbbing limbs.

"I know you're both tired but we need to keep moving," Izin clipped Zeirio's legs and put him over his shoulder. "Now let's keep moving, your friends need help."

Eirisinia gave him a firm nod before they both continued to run as fast as they could with Izin leading the way. The cave, resembling an ant's colony, was filled with endless turns however he was pacing the way as if the structure was the back of his own hand.

They halted when they see two figures from a far. A tiny figure with long braided hair at the back seemed as if her hands were on the knees. One of them was holding ten small daggers trying to fend off just one marticule. They could tell it was the beast from before due to the huge slash across its face that was visible from far away.

As they got closer, Reyzenar and Reiynia's dirty and exhausted faces became clearer. However, their heavy footsteps allerted the beast. Now it is running towards them.

Izin was quick to put Zeirio down. He touched the ground and a large thick wall appeared infront of the beast. The creature slammed on the wall and the caves quaked, releasing a brief gust of dust and wind.

Two more walls appeared beside the beast, mimicking a cage. The final walls behind and above the creature were conjured moments later.

"He's still unconcious from the impact, but this should hold him off for a brief moment," Izin mumbled more to himself than to his companions.

"Reiynia!" Zeirio exclaimed as he ran towards her. He hid behind her back and stared at everyone else.

"Good the both of you are alright," Reyzenar said with a smile as he hid all off his daggers and waved a hand.

Eirisnia dragged her feet and slowly approached Reyzenar. Her strides left thin marks on the clay below.

"Woah Iris, you look really tired, are you oka-" he barely finished his sentence when he felt both her arms wrapped around his body.

"Well this is unexpected," he nervously laughed as he held both hands up.

"Shut up and deal with it," she slightly pushed him away and looked the other way. "I was only worried..." she whispered.
