"Enough about that," Eirisinia was irritated. "Tell me what the both of you really are... Why did your appearances change? And what are two children even doing out here?"
The twins looked at each other and nodded in unison. They understand each other based on a stare alone.
"We," Reiynia began, "are Equinox Conjurers. We are able to wield both light and darkness at the same time." She extended both her hands, "You will know everything about us once you take my hand," she told them.
Zeirio whispered something to her and she nodded without hesitation. He then walked away from them and turned his back against them.
"My brother will stand guard and pull us out from my mind if danger is nearby," she reassured them while lookin at their eyes. "Now, take my hand if you wish to know more."
Eirisinia hesitated as she withdrew her hand after she extended it the first time. She felt a reassuring hand on her shoulder which gave her a gentle squeeze.
"It's alright, we'll be together," Reyzenar reassured her with a smile.
She took a deep breath and held Reiynia's hand. Instantly, The world spun around her and when it stopped she and Reyzenar were transported into a cozy home. She looked around and saw Reyzenar right beside her.
The room was filled with badly carved wooden furniture. Books about plants and animals were stacked on every corner of the room. One book in particular stood out. It was about the marticules. She could tell from the title: The Hidden Truth About Marticules.
She walked towards the book and stared at it but then the sillouete of a man appeared together with a younger Reiynia and Zeirio. Their hairs and eyes were a combination of purple and gold. Much like when Zeirio took off his necklace.
"This was when we were younger," Reiynia's voice started explaining. Her physical body was nowhere to be found but she spoke as if she was beside them. "We never left the house for if we did, our conjurations and abilities would run berserk. Our mother found a way to conceal our abilities inside our home."
"Who's the faceless man?" Reyzenar asked without a second thought.
"He is my father but because of my wish to see the marticules, my brother had to save me and in exchange for that, we cannot remember what father looks or sounds like, hence why he is only a shadow," she told them sadly.
"What's he giving you?" Reyzenar asked without moving an inch while Eirisinia walked forward and stared at the younger twins.
"He is giving my brother the necklace," she explained. When the younger Zeirio put it around his neck, both their appearances changed. Reiynia's hair turned purple and Zeirio's became gold. Her eyes turned pink and his eyes turned green.
"That necklace holds some of our power," the bodiless Reiynia explains. "If it were to be separated from us for only a few seconds, our power would go berserk and uncontrolled."
"Who made that necklace?" Eirisinia bluntly asked as she went back to Reyzenar's side.
"Mother told us that an acquiantance of her made it but we do not exactly know who," she continued to explained.
The world spun again, this time, they were inside a room. It was small with one bed, a small cabinet and a large mirror with occassional books about animals lying on the floor.
A young Reiynia stood in front of the mirror. Wearing a blue silk dress with embroidered golden leaves.
"You were wondering about my clothes right?" The bodiless Reiynia spoke. "I do not know where they came from, all I know is that it used to be my mother's old clothes from when she was young."
