"I really can't leave you alone for a second can I," Nadier entered the room with the wolf-like marticules behind his back.

"Izin!" Seira looked back.

"On it," Izin heavily pushed his hands on the ground and they all began to ascend. He did all that while also conjuring a portal above their heads.

As they pass through the swirling conjuration, they opened their eyes to see the inside of the throne room. The biggest room inside the whole palace. It can fit more than a thousand people at once.

On the throne, Axinite was seated and seemed like he was waiting. Not a breath too soon, Marticules entered the room and surrounded each and everyone of them.

"Izin the shield," Seira commanded. Izin's hand glowed purple and a white dome immediately surrounded them.

"We can fight them," Eirisinia suggested as she stared at the marticules one by one with her hand behind her, grasping the dagger.

"That is true but everyone's safety is my priority," Seira conjured a sword and held her hair. She slashed half of it off and now it only reached her shoulders. She ripped her skirt and tied her hair into a bun. "You all should stay inside this dome, none of you should ever leave."

With that, she dashed forward and conjured two identical blades in her hands. She went out of the dome and began slashing at the marticule's eyes. Each of her blades broke with one impact but she soon conjured another and continued the fight.

"What is she doing?" Reyzenar asked out of pure amazement from her skills. Her movements were elegant and caculated yet quick and powerful.

"She's the Queen, at a young age she's learned how to fight the kingdom's enemies and keep her people safe," Izin explained. "And my job, is to protect the people of the kingdom and the Queen."

Seira got hit by a bear's claws. She was sent back flying and her back hit the ground. Her conjured blades shattered with the impact. Marticules came to attack in her downed state with claws, sharp teeth and strong talons but she remained in position, unphased.

Izin snapped his fingers and a white dome appeared around her. As the beasts' touched the barier, they were all sent flying back.

Seira got up and continued to fight alone until Nadier finally entered the room. He caught her attention and she immediately went straight for him. She approached like the speed of an eagle attacking its prey.

He stood in place and conjured a shield. It stopped her blades from reaching Nadier.

"You like this shield your highness?" He grinned. "I got it from him," he tilted his head and looked at Izin. "Also, that shield of yours only prevents marticules from entering but not conjurations."

Knights in silver armour came marching and dragged Eirisinia, Reyzenar, the twins and their father outside the barrier.

Immediately once they got out, Eirisinia was attacked by a blind marticule. She was pushed back due to her lateness in drawing out her weapon. Her blood trickled on the marble floor like red paint splashes.

Reyzenar and the twin's father kicked the beast away at the same time, letting Eirisinia wrap her wound momentarily with a piece of her cloak that now only had the hood left.

"You got skills," Reyzenar said to the man beside him.

"Thanks, you got them as well," he returned the compliment.

"Mind if I ask you something?" Reyzenar asked the man as they inched back.

"Sure what is it?" He replied.
