The writer writes, the result is a story. But the actual process of how a story goes is endless as long as different people get to read it.

You see, when a story is made, chosen to be read, perceived in the mind, it is somewhat could be called 'another story'. It is not entirely a bad thing, you know. It is actually interesting for me. Not because your story is ambigous or what, but because it is written not to feed the readers but to interest them.

A cliffhanger can be an example. You see, when you put a cliffhanger on one of your chapters, most of your readers will definitely guess what's about to happen next. Wild guesses comes after the other. That is a good way for a story. Engage your readers by pulling off their curiousities, give them the power to create what's next on their own, but of course, you don't have to follow anything. The purpose here is to excite them. And an exciting story is a good story.
