roomates

moving to college

Daisy and I are so exited to move to college. So we packed up our rooms to our cars and said goodbye to our parents

"Are you sure you have everything?" My mom asked

"Yes, but if I forget anything I'll just drive and pick it up"

Me and my best friend Daisy just started collage last semester and it's been great so far. Eventhough it was difficult to convince both of our parents to live on campus and not at home even though we both lived 20 minutes from the collage we are allowed to live in campus

One thing I was exited for was to have my best friend as my roomate so we could decorate the apartment the way we liked it

So we packed up our lives into our cars and drove to collage. Me and Daisy walked to the reception desk to get our schedule and keys we then walked back to our cars

I checked my room key and then Daisy's and realised we were not Roomates

"Daisy were not Roomates"

"Don't be silly Lily, when we applied for the apartment it said we were together"

"Zee your B17 and I'm B07!"

She looked down at our keys and shouted

"Shit, what a great fucking day"

"Do you want me to speak with the lady again"

"Yeah better you doing it then me because I'll just start shouting"

"Ok I'll be back in a few"

I walk back into the building and wait behind a girl who is talking to the women. When the girl in front is done talking to the women she looks up at me and asks

"Is everything ok sweets"

"Not really you see me and my friend who you saw a few minutes ago"

'Is she by any chance the person that screamed shit a few minutes ago"

"Yes that would be her, but me and her were supposed to be Roomates and we're not, is there a mix up by any chance?

"Im sorry hun but unless both of your guy's Roomates want to swap then we can't do anything"

I shut my eyes and reply "ok"

"Im really sorry hun"

"Its fine thank you for trying to help"

I begin to walk out to go tell Daisy the news when a boy goes to enter the door. I step out the way nearly crashing into him but luckily he catches me

"Careful" he said

"Im sorry"

"You better be"

I keep my head down and once I'm outside I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in

"Daisy" I call as I see her on her phone not even knowing I was beside her

"So?" She said looking hopeful

"The women said the only way we can change rooms is if both of our roomates switch with one of us"

"For fuck sakes I'm going to make sure my Roomate will switch"

"Well be nice to them and maybe they will be more open to switch"

"Ok, do you want to go up and meet your roomate"

"Yeah let's go"

We go pass the front desk women where she smiles at us and we make our way to my room B07
