Jack's pov
It has been a month since I have moved away from home and have started to live at college
I'm roomates with a girl called Daisy. When I first met her I thought she would be a lot like the girls from my hometown loud and having gossip filled lives but I was proven wronge. Very wronge
I was in the apartment before Daisy got there. I saw that she was carrying a large box and offered politely to help her carry it but she said "If I wanted your help I would've asked for it, I'm an independent woman and I can move my own box thank very much stranger"
To say I wasn't a bit scared of her would be a understatement she was independent and strong from the first time I met her
When we finally got settled I started to find myself bonding with her with having the same interests in music and fashion
She is always there for me to talk to and I'm just myself around her. I haven't felt like I could be my authentic self around anyone apart from my parents. I didn't have real friends back home
I was very nervous moving away from home to live with a complete stranger because I've always been a home body
However, Daisy has been nothing but the best. We stay up late at night and have our deep chat but we can also have a laugh with one another
The more I'm around her the more attached I've become
You would say I have developed a crush on her but I know a lot of boys have and there is no way that I can be her boyfriend
So, I'm just going to have to watch from the side lines amd be happy for whoever Daisy ends up with because its never going to be me
