roomates

first day

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing. I turned on my side to turn it off

I sit up in my bed and take my phone off of the charger and I start to look through my notifications

I see a message from my mom

Mom🥰~ hey hunny, I just wanted to wish you luck with your first day of college

I reply quickly

Me~ thanks mom xx

I put my phone down and I start to get ready for school. I enter my bathroom for a quick shower. Once I'm done I get dressed and start to style my hair

I go back into my bedroom and get dressed in a black mini denim skirt and a oversized white T-shirt

Then I make my way over to my vanity and I start to do my makeup. I go for glowy skin with a soft pink eye shadow look with a clear lipgloss

I pick up my backpack and phone to see a message from daisy saying she's waiting outside for me

I close my bedroom door going to make my way to the front door to meet Daisy but Hunter comes out of the kitchen and ask

"Aren't you going to eat?"

"No I was just going to meet Daisy"

"Is she outside?"

"Yeah, she texted me she was"

"Great let her in and you need to eat"

I roll my eyes but never the less I open the front door to be meet with a impatient Daisy

"What's taken you so long?"

"I was going to just get you when Hunter decided that I wasn't leaving until I've eaten"

When I'm done explaining Daisy's mouth is slightly open in shock

"So he's concerned about if you've eaten"

"I guess so"

She smiles softly at me while I stand to the side making room for her to enter the apartment

We both make our way to the kitchen where two more plates are full of food with a happy looking Hunter

I sit down at a island chair and start to eat

Once I'm done eating I place my plate in the sink wash it up and make my way back towards the island

I place my bag on my shoulder and I turn to ask Hunter

"Do we have business today"

He turns to me and replys "yes, 4th period"

"Ok I will see you then"

"See you Lily" he said smiling

Me and Daisy make our way out of my apartment and down towards campus

Both of us had English first so we walked in the classroom together

We sat in seat near the front. We both got out our computers to start taking notes

As our class was about to start in walks a girl who looked very nervous. As we were near the front I waved the girl over and asked if she wanted to sit with us. Which she happily accepted

Class started and I got to know the girl sitting next to me. I found out her name was Emma and she was a business major like me and she has business class with me and Hunter

English finished quite fast. After English I had media, drama then business

Like all of my classes I sat near the front of the classroom. When Emma came into class we sat together

Hunter then walks in scanning the chairs full of people until his eyes land on me

He walks up the stairs to the empty seat next to me. Emma looks at me gobsmacked

She leans in and wispers "how do you know Hunter Brown?"

I wisper back to her "We're roomates"

"Your so lucky"

"Why?"

"Well I went to high-school with him and he never showed interest in anyone"

"And he hasn't change"

"Then why is he sitting by you and constantly looking over at you"

I don't reply I just glance over in Hunters direction and surely enough he would look at me then back at the front of the room where the teacher was and then back over at me again

He catches me looking at him, causing him to chuckle

Business class went by quite fast and soon my day is over but Hunter tells me he had gym then he would be back at the apartment

I walked back over to the apartment and placed my bag in my room as I changed into comfy clothes and started to remove my makeup from the day

I sat down on the couch and started to text Daisy to see how her day was. She replied and said she was in her last class but we would facetime tonight

I get off of the couch and I start to make dinner and play music from my Spotify playlist

Halfway through me making mine and Hunter's dinner I hear the door close and in walks a very hot and sweaty Hunter

He makes his way over to the kitchen island placing his bag on the floor and making his way over to me

"Hey, you hungry?"

"I'm starving" he replys and on cue his stomach growls

"How about you go and shower and change then by then dinner will be done"

"Sounds good" he replys smiling

He makes his way to his bedroom and a I start to hear the shower running

As I finish our dinner Hunter emerges out of his room I set down plates full of food

We start to eat as we talk about our day

Once I have clean and washed up I make my way into my room. At 7pm I facetime Daisy

After talking for 2 hours I start to head off to bed when there is a knock on the door

I get off my bed to be meet with a smiling Hunter asking

"Can we do a facemask?"
