Lily's POV

3 years later

Me and Daisy are getting ready for our graduation. Since the start of college and Daisy have always been best friends and me and Hunter are still together

When I put my cap and gown on it starts to feel real. I'm graduating as a valedictorian and a major in English

When I enter my parents just before the ceremony they both tell me how proud and happy they are for me and they both take over 100 pictures of me

I try to find Hunter but he was getting ready with Jack so I would have to see him a little later

When it's time to go in and sit down for the ceremony I start to get nervous that my speech is not good or that I will trip and fall of my face

I search around to try and see a familiar face and I see Hunter. He sees me being nervous so he motions to his phone so I know that he will send a message

When he does it says

Buba💕- hey baby, I know that the speech you have written is incredible. I know this because after every rewrite you would read it to me. You will do amazing baby. Also after the ceremony I need to take you somewhere

Me- thank you bubs. Also do I need to change?

Buba💕- no darling you look beautiful xx

After the text from Hunter calmed my nerves down but I was so curious for where we were going

My name got announced to read my speech and all my nerves were back. I stand up from my seat with the speech in my hand and I walk up to the podium

I start out my speech by welcoming friends and family. Then I make a few quick thank you's to my parents for raising me to Daisy for being my best friend my whole life and my amazing boyfriend Hunter

I go on to talk about the hardship we have faced and how we have overcome them and the resilience of the graduating class

I make a few jokes to keep the speech lighthearted and I finish by saying thank you to the deans and the principal for letting me give the speech

When I'm finally done I have a standing ovation and I go back and sit in my seat

I check my phone to see a text from Hunter

Buba💕- baby you speech was amazing I'm so proud of you also thanks for adding in the bit about me being an amazing boyfriend

Me- thanks buba and also everyone knows your an amazing boyfriend 🥺💗

My row gets to stand and I go up to the stage when my name is called and I receive my diploma and I hear my mom, dad, Hunter, Daisy and Jack cheering and screaming making me laugh

Then  when they all got their diplomas I was cheering and celebrating for them

When it is all over me, Hunter, Daisy and Jack all go over to my parents and we all get hugs from them

The  Hunter turns to me and asks "are you curious for your surprise?"

I replys with "Yes I am when are we going?"

He replys with "right now baby"

I say goodbye to everyone and me and Hunter drive to my surprise

He takes me to the waterfall where we first had our first date. There was rose petals and a blanket set up

I look back to where Hunter was standing just a minute ago bit he's not there so I walk closer

As I'm standing on the blanket I hear someone clear their throat

I turn around to see Hunter on one knee

He says "I had a whole speech prepared but it will  ever be able to capture my live for you. You have been my partner in crime, my best friend but most importantly you have been my girlfriend

And I think after 4 years together we should get a upgrade is Lily Martyn will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?"

At this point tears are streaming down my face and I am unable to talk so I just nod yes

Hunter quickly stands up puts the engagement ring on my finger and hugs me in a bear hug and he spins me kissing me repeatedly

He sets me down carefully and gives me a passionate kiss and he tells me this is the happiness moment of his life

Happy last chapter but don't worry I'm writting an epilogue for the wedding but I can't believe the book is done. Thank all of you for the continued support ❤
