Hunter's Pov

Me and Lily have been dating a year and we have officially done our first year at college and we have moved out of our apartment and into a different on off of campus

Our original apartment didn't allow any pets but our new apartment does allow pets so for our 1 year anniversary I've gotten her a dog

Earlier on in the day I went to the pet shop to get supplies for the new dog and I picked the dog up from the shelter

Lily was at a class so I had a while to set up the surprise

When the door opens and Lily opens and she walks in with a gift bag saying "happy 1 year anniversary"

I go up to her place a kiss on her lips and hug her. She gives me the gift bag and I open and read the card first and then I open the gift that was a Sweater I've been wanting all year

I put the gift and the card down and give her a cuddle then I tell her that her pressent is in our room

She opens our bedroom door and sees the dog. She turns back to me with happy tears streaming down her face

She picks up the dog them cuddles into me repeatingly saying thank you

She is so thankful and says this is the best pressent she has ever gotten
