While resting in bed, Hiiro was able to breathe a sigh of relief as Deus seemed to have left the room again.

His whole body still ached, but he felt more pain in his head as the continuous confusion of the situation assaulted him.

He had not done much that was different, so why was the villain acting so differently?! Was this the power of the butterfly effect? That seems a little too far-fetched though!

He sighed, but he quickly sat up and held his breath as the door opened again. Flinching, a rush of pain went down his back. The sudden movement only made the aches worse and he couldn't fight back the tears in his eyes.

"Hghhh..."

Deus saw him and sighed. He still looked breathtakingly handsome, despite his glare.

Finally, the pain subsided, but when he opened his eyes, Hiiro was met with Deus standing in front of him! He wanted to jolt back, but his back was being held by the other man. Surprised, cold sweat was forming on his skin.

Deus didn't notice and just continued to get closer. He took something out of his pocket, a small bottle with light blue liquid.

Hiiro only continued to be worried. What was in that bottle?! Was it poison?! Will he die here?! Maybe it's the type of situation where he'll force poison on him and he has to do everything he says to get the antidote/suppressants for it every month! The endless possibilities flooded his head as he became more nervous.

Opening the intricate glass cork of the bottle with his teeth as his other hand was occupied with holding onto Hiiro, Deus brought the opened bottle up to Hiiro's mouth.

"Drink it."

Hiiro could only cry to himself, as he didn't know what was going to happen to him. If he was gonna be a slave to the villain, then wouldn't it be better to just die than drink this poison?! He seemed to have already accepted the drink as a poison to put him under the villain's thumb...

Seeing his defiance to drinking it, Deus had an annoyed expression on his face.

With a menacing smile on his face that could make anyone fall for him, as well as scare any enemy away, he continued threatening the frightened little bunny in his arms.

"Would you rather I give it to you mouth to mouth? This is my last warning."

The blood quickly drained from Hiiro's face as his expression turned to one of enlightenment. He swiftly drank the drink, completely throwing away his previous hang-ups.

However, rather than the pain, he was expecting, he was surrounded by a light blue light. It was warm and made him feel safe and happy. After the light dissipated, he realized something amazing!

The pain and aching were gone!

Even the exterior injuries, he was completely healed!

A sudden realization hit him, as he realized what might've happened.

"... was that... the 'Goddess's Tears?'"

Deus only nodded as he moved away from Hiiro and stood up.

"Wha-Wha"

Hiiro was at a loss for words as cold sweat developed on him again.

'WHY ARE YOU TREATING IT LIKE IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL?! THE GODDESS'S TEARS IS A HIGH-LEVEL ELIXIR THAT CAN EVEN HEAL A PERSON WHO HAS A MORTAL INJURY!! IT CAN ONLY BE MADE 24 TIMES PER YEAR!! ONE BOTTLE COSTS OVER A MILLION RAUN!! HOW COULD YOU JUST USE IT FOR SOMEONE THAT HAD  BODY ACHES?!'

Deus seemed to have sensed his shock and disbelief, but he held his usual arrogant and unaffected demeanor.

However, Hiiro couldn't let this go as he continued to count with his fingers. Raun was the currency in this world, and it had about the same exact value as the currency back on earth. That means he just drank a drink with who knows how many zeros attached to it! For a poor college student, this was heartbreaking to experience!
