Understanding where he stood at the present situation, he sat down on a chair next to a table, resting his head on his hand. His face lax and cold yet arrogant and charming. With the light shining through, and the wind blowing from the window, he looked like he came out of a painting. His white button up shirt was mainly unbuttoned and showed his bare chest and his built body. He was a true Adonis, from every angle, even when he was on his last breath.

Looking around at a room he hasn't seen for awhile, he picked up his phone from the table he was leaning on. Luckily, he had fingerprints turned on, so he didn't have to remember his old password. He's able to remember many things vividly, but trivial matters like passwords... he's never been that good with them actually...

Looking at the day and time, he was able to figure out how far he had gone back in time. It was 2035, 12 years after the emergence of the rifts, and 7 years since he had rose to fame and reverence, at the young age of 16.

Looking at the Calender, he suddenly remembered what would happen in a 4 days.

In 4 days, the city Seralis will become swept up in a grade E rift. There shouldn't be a problem but it was an irregular rift, which let monsters roam out of the rift as soon as it appears. And, in accordance to Deus's policy, the city will become quarantined, where nobody can go in or out until the rift is defeated and closed.

Although he could stop this order, learning from his past life... he decides the best thing to do will be to go through with it.

Why?

Because that will be the first story told by many in the future about the hero, Hiiro Seraphim.

The quickest way to come in contact with the man he will serve loyally in this life, would be to meet him there. Even if people will die, he has to meet him, for the guaranteed future prosperity of the people.

Steeling his resolution, he got dressed and grabbed an outer coat as he walked out the door.

I know the true path in this life... I will make sure that the true ending will continue no matter what.

...

After 4 days like it was expected, the rift in the city really had opened, just like how Deus had remembered. Just like the past, he had also closed the city. The only difference was that he was in the city, jumping from building to building, to see if he could find his target anywhere.

In the original story that told of the hero's bravery, it was said that he had protected a horde of people from a giant one eyed python. After that, he went into the rift himself and had closed it, saving the city.

Looking around the terrain, he spared no time getting rid of any monster in his way, so he could get to each location as fast as possible.

He looked around to find any mass of people or any giant python.

The closer he got to the gate, the louder his heart beated in excitement. Each sound was as thunderous as the next as it reverberated through his head, and it peaked as he saw a mass of people, with one black haired boy near the back.

It was definitely him, even though he was less built and younger than he last remembered, this man was definitely the one that had plunged the sword in his chest, and also the one he has been searching and longing for, for the past few days. The sound ringing in his head began to peak in his head.

Realizing that his own hand was trembling from excitement, he slowly took deep breaths to calm himself down.

Seeing as nothing has happened yet, he sat down at a nearby building that looked over the large crowd and gave a clear view of Hiiro, and he began to wait for something to happen.
