Pico went back home after a long day at work. It's been years since all of that happened. Now they're adults and are dealing with more issues.

Pico wasn't surprised when Nene was lying on the living room floor like a dead person. It's been her habit ever since.

Nene decided to stay in touch with her friends. By that, moving in with one of her best friends.

She noticed Pico's presence, standing up inhumanly. She showed Pico something in her phone.

"Hey, lover boy! I set you up on Tinder," Nene said excitedly.

"You set up a fucking Tinder account of me?!" Pico exclaimed, trying to take the phone away from her. Unfortunately, she's skillful at dodging.

"Relax! You're 22 and still single," Nene said, pushing him away by her pointer finger. "Maybe Tinder isn't the best idea. Grindr, maybe?"

"I don't want to be in a relationship," Pico said grumpily.

"You can't just wait for the one. It'll take forever! You're an attractive man. Tell him, Darnell."

"Yup," Darnell agreed, his voice appearing out of nowhere.

Nene must've video call him while telling those lines.

"I know that gingers may not be attractive uhh... But still!" She said offensively.

Pico looked away, Nene instantly reading what he truly feels or thinks. She ended the call, putting her phone in her pocket.

She held Pico's back and patted it. No, Pico's not upset that Nene just called gingers unattractive. He's upset about the idea of dating.

"He's not the only fish in the sea, Pico. You have to meet other people that are most likely better than him. He's probably dead!" Nene tried to comfort him. "You should get out of your shell. Fuck being afraid of commitment."

Pico smiled a bit. Nene's right. All relationships aren't going to be as bad as his last time. It's going to change. They're unique in their way.

He hopes that someone that'll love him won't feel like he's overwhelming. He doesn't want them to carry his burden.

Then again, Pico and Keith were kids. All that's been happening around them, they can't figure it out right away. Keith was a kind-hearted man, and I was corrupting him. Leaving him was for the best.

"Oh, hey! I know," Nene exclaimed, snapping Pico out of his thoughts.

She rushed and grabbed her bag.

"I saw this flyer lying around and saw that the prize is to date this girl if you win the competition," she finally took the flyer out of her bag and handed it to Pico.

It was crumpled and messy, but it's readable.

"Weak. Who would let someone make a person as a prize?" Pico commented.

"Unless you want to be a daring prince and rescue her from her misery," Nene said, dramatically fainted on the couch.

"Might as well," Pico agreed, shoving the flyer in his pocket. He doesn't have anything to do anyway. His life was a cycle of work and sleep.

"You better make the most of it. I took that flyer so I can snatch that hot lady, but I sacrificed it for you," Nene said, crossing her arms and huffing.

"I'll try my best," he said, sounding bored.

...

"Lucky bastard." Keith smiled, hopping off stage. He stuck his tongue out to the person that commented on that.
