chapter 15

Junkyu woke up the next day feeling a lot better. He did his usual morning routine and went downstairs. All the members were almost complete in the dining room. He saw Mashiho smile at him first for the first time so he smiled back widely. He sat beside him in the dining table and greeted everyone a good morning.

"Mashi, did you sleep well last night?"

"Yes hyung. How about you?"

"I did, I feel a lot better now." Junkyu wondered why Jihoon hasn't said a word to him when he came downstairs but he saw that he was talking with Hyunsuk. Jihoon then noticed one member missing.

"Where the hell is Park Jeongwoo? He slept late last night and woke up late also? Ahh, this kid. I'll report this to dad if he continues doing this." Jihoon said and asked Junghwan to check up on Jeongwoo.

Asahi was silently eating as always beside Yoshi who was studying a math book on his lap. He was frustrated because he knows how to solve the problems but he can't be confident himself. His classmates, Jihoon just read the lesson and understand it, while there was Junkyu who just read but did not really understand the lesson.

"Doyoungie, it's been a while since we have recorded songs together. I'm working with a song now, do you want to sing it with me?" Yedam asked noticing that the two of them did not spend much time together lately. Yedam understood the fact that they're already a big group so they'll have less time with each other but he also noticed that Doyoung has been spending a lot of his time with Junghwan only. Yedam thought about it and the reasons why, and he thinks that Doyoung must've want to experience how it's like to have a younger brother because he's been the youngest for years. Now that he has three younger brothers, he may also want to be a big brother and be a good hyung to them. Doyoung was about to answer Yedam when they saw Junghwan rushing down the stairs.

"Jihoon hyung, it seems like Jeongwoo hyung can't go to school today. His voice was raspy and he has a slight fever but he also told me that his head was aching." Jihoon immediately rushed upstairs to check on his younger brother's condition. He saw Jeongwoo on the top bunk, blanket all over his body and eyes still closed. He checked his temperature by putting his hand on Jeongwoo's forehead and he can feel that he's a bit burning. He shaked him gently to wake him up.

"Woo, does your head hurt?" Jihoon asked concerned, Junghwan was observing the scene at the door of the room.

"A little bit hyung, I can still go to school. We're still not late right?" Jeongwoo asked, eyes still half closed, trying to sit up, but Jihoon notices that Jeongwoo seems a bit weak right now.

"Listen Woo, just don't go to school this day. Just rest, okay? Seriously, what did you even do that made you sick?" Jeongwoo did not argue with Jihoon because he does not really have enough strength. He gave him medicines, water and food to eat. Jihoon's only problem is if there's someone who'll take care of Jeongwoo for today. He can but he can't miss his math quiz because of the strict teacher who doesn't allow students to take a special quiz, but if there's really no one who could then he can't do anything about it but stay and take care of his dear brother. Junghwan stayed with Jeongwoo while he went downstairs to tell the others about Jeongwoo's situation.

"Guys, I know this is a really big favor but is there someone who can take care of Woo today? I can't miss my math quiz but if there's no one then I have no choice but to take care of him. That kid really. I don't even know why he got sick, he can't even speak properly. His voice is raspy." Mashiho and Junkyu then automatically look at each other and widened their eyes.

"Jihoonie, I think it was yesterday when me and Mashiho got back, we saw him drinking water out of a cold pitcher. He almost emptied the pitcher and it was already late at night."
