𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽||𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲

chapter 10

It has been a week that their group was formed and every time they have no school works to do, they always hang out in their private place at school. They also started discussing about music which is the main reason why they're together now. Hyunsuk let them hear the songs he's done before and Yoshi was confused why he hadn't released them.

The eleven of them are now staying at the music room in the mansion. It was a Tuesday night and they decided to gather there before doing their homeworks.

"Hyung, all your songs are such a bop. The hiphop feeling is present to most of them. Why didn't you release these?" Yoshi asked out of curiosity.

"Hyunsuk hyung was just waiting for the right moment so he'll be able to release it." Doyoung answered instead.

"What do you mean by right moment?"

"I was about to release it at the end of last school year last year, but our former group kind of fell apart. So what I mean by the right moment is the time I'll have a group again."

"You have one now hyung. You could release it now."

"Yeah, maybe sometime. When we settpe ouselves first."

"Hyung, you haven't told us the story with your former group. Could you tell us?"

Hyunsuk started his story by telling them about his love for music since he was a kid and how it led him to meet Byounggon.

"That time, I was in my sixth grade when I met Byounggon hyung when I took music lessons. He became one of my inspirations because he was really good at rapping at a very young age. He had a bestfriend named Seunghun who was the same age as mine, and he also loves music. Since then, the three of us were inseparable. After two years, we met Raesung, Jihoon, Noa, and Junkyu who were classmates and after a few days, Doyoung joined us too who was introduced by Junkyu. I even remember the story why he became one of the members of our group. Junkyu told us that he just wanted to lose weight but he enjoyed dancing so much. We don't have plans to include dancing that time, but Doyoung is one of the reasons why." Hyunsuk gave Doyoung a proud smile before continuing.

"We all love music and it's part of our life until we started discussing on pursuing it. We looked for a school which would help us to improve and gladly, Junkyu said that his dad is a director of a performing arts school which is where we study now. We met Yedam there and a few more people joined our group. But then, before we could achieve our dreams, something stopped us from going on. Byounggon hyung's brother died and he had to take after their company. Same for Seunghun hyung who volunteered. Noa came back to Japan, Jihoon came back to Busan and said he'll come back. I'm glad he didnt disappoint us, and others decided to part ways. Only the five of us were left now." Hyunsuk finished telling their story with teary eyes. The other four involved in the group started having teary eyes as well, remembering the happy memories left behind.

"Dont cry, hyung. Atleast you have us now. We won't promise each other that we'll be together for eternity but let's do the best that we can." Mashiho said, carressing Doyoung's back who is on his side while talking.

"Then Mashi hyung, where were you always when it's lunch or break time? You haven't specifically told us where you go." Yedam asked.

"Sorry for not telling you guys. I'll spend more time with you in the future. But the reason was because I'm helping a friend." Mashiho confessed to them honestly.

"Who? Does he have a problem?"

"Kinda, he's a classmate of Asahi and mine, Yoon Jaehyuk." Yoshi who was silently listening raised his head and looked at his cousin to see his expression. Asahi however, seems like he didn't care. Yoshi quickly sat beside Asahi.

"Sahi, are you okay? Why didn't you tell me this?" Yoshi whispered carefully for others not to notice.

"Yoshi hyung, what are you whispering to Asahi hyung?" Jeongwoo who was paying attention to all of their actions questioned.

"I-its nothing. I just asked him if he had received a call from his parents."

"Oh, you know when his parents call him too? You two must be really close then."

"Of course, they're cousins."

"Oh, cousins. W-WAIT WHATTT?!?! They're cousins?"

"Jeongwoo, you just knew about that now? Were living in the same house for almost a week but you didn't know thattt?"

"What do you expect from him, hyung? He's Park Jeongwoo, Park Jihoon's brother." Junkyu said sarcastically joking.

"Yah! You brat, what does that have to do with me?"

"Maybe Junkyu hyung's stating that your dumbness could run in your brother's blood too." Junghwan said.

"Junghwan, you know about them being cousins too?"

"Of course hyung, I even thought they were brothers until I asked Haruto hyung about it and he told me they're cousins."

"Speaking of, I want to know the story how the Japanese members met each other. Mind if you tell us?"

Yoshi took a deep breath, noticing none of the Japanese members don't have the interest to talk about it.

"It was at a concert of YG Family.  I was there because my sister brought me with her to see BIGBANG sunbaenim. There, I met Haruto who attended the concert because of his fangirl mom who also went there to see BIGBANG and Mashiho was there because of  SE7EN. The three of us met each other again on YG Japan's audition but we didn't make it but the good thing is the start of our friendship." The other members awed at how they met because of music too.

"Asahi is the type of person who doesn't have many friends and his closest friend moved to another country. He was so much upset about it for a very long time so I brought him to an iKON concert to make him feel better and he did because he got noticed by Bobby sunbaenim. I also introduced him to Mashiho and Haruto; since then, he grew to love music too, and that it makes him feel better." Yoshi finished telling his story, smiling, thankful he got to reminisce those beautiful moments.

He's very thankful that he met Haruto and Mashiho; and Asahi joined them in sharing their passion with each other. Now, is another chapter of his life because it's not only the four of them. They stayed there more, talking about how music became their friend and made them experience happy and sad moments in life.

Mashiho noticed that Junkyu has not been really well after Hyunsuk shared their story so he went to Junkyu's room to check him up. He witnessed a heartbreaking scene as he entered the room. Junkyu was hugging his pillow, crying on it.

"Junkyu hyung, are you okay? I don't know the reason why, but I hope I could help you. Just tell me, hyung. I'd be willing to-" Mashiho didn't finish his sentence because he was welcomed by Junkyu's warm embrace.

"I miss h-him. I miss my bestfriend, Mashi..." Mashiho wondered who he was talking about but didn't ask. He just let him cry on his shoulder. He just let him cry until soft snores can be heard from him. He stayed for more minutes and just wrapped Junkyu with his warm hug. After he was sure that the older is sleeping already, he tucked him on his bed.

"Sleep well, hyung. Good night. I hope time will come that you will tell me these things so you won't be lonely." Mashiho turned off the lights in Junkyu's room and went out.

In the maknaes room, there were two persons who were still awake.

Jeongwoo was singing these lines of the song over and over and Haruto did not just listen to it because he tried to record it. He thinks that what he was doing was kinda creepy but only him will know about it, and he just cant get enough of Park Jeongwoo's voice.

Doyoung and Junghwan were already snoring softly. Jeongwoo's voice slowly becomes softer and softer and Haruto took it as a sign to save the record. I'll listen to it on the way to school tomorrow. he thought and fell into a deep sleep.
