Applejack decided to take one last look at herself in the mirror. First she checked her face. She wasn't wearing make up, she never did. She never felt like she had to. Her face had always been clean, even in highschool, when everyone in her school had acne. Applejack didn't care what other people put on their faces, but Applejack liked herself natural.

Next was her hair, which she didn't put in her usual low ponytail, instead, it was combed on high bun, so it doesn't get on the way as much.

Her outfit was simple, which kinda worried her. Who knew how a rich celebrity like Rainbow Dash would show up wearing, considering she has to perform afterwards. Applejack would feel kinda bad if Rainbow Dash shows up in expensive tux, or any expensive outfit, while Applejack herself is wearing just her high waisted black ripped jeans, her black crop top and blue flannel.

Applejack looked at the time on her phone and decided to head downstairs. She grabbed her bag, threw her phone in it, and went to the living room. Everything else, like money and purse, was already in the bag.

When Applejack entered the room, she saw her friend Rarity, who was picking up Applebloom. Behind her was her little sister, Sweetie Belle and her friend, Scootaloo. Rarity was taking the three girls to the carnival. When the purple haired girl saw her friend she immediately waved.

"Hello darling! I see you're ready for the event as well." She wiggled her eyebrows a little. Applejack glared at her, but thankfully that went unnoticed by the rest of the Apple family. Applejack already told her best friend that she's going to the carnival with Rainbow Dash.

"Of course Ah am. 'Wouldn't miss such a thin' for a chance." Applejack fake smiled, still keeping her cold look, at which Rarity giggled.

Applebloom looked at her big sister and frowned.

"Ah still don't know why you ain't comin' with us."

Applejack chuckled. "Ah already told you Ah'm goin' with a friend."

"Your friend can join us too!"

Before Applejack could reply, Rarity quickly took her chance.

"Sometimes, your sister needs to spend time with her other friends." Rarity placed her hand on Applebloom's shoulder. "And who knows, we might see each other there. Now let's hurry up and get in the car."

The three younger girls happily yelled and started running towards Rarity's car. Before Rarity could follow them, she whispered to Applejack.

"Good luck tonight, Juliet."

Applejack snorted at the stupid reference as her friend walked out of the house and closed the door behind her.
Applejack sat on the couch and took out her phone. She decided to look through her phone a bit before Rainbow Dash comes to pick her up. She saw a notification from Instagram.

'im getting in the car rn, ill be there soon x'

15 minutes ago. That means Rainbow Dash should be here soon. Applejack liked the message and then scrolled through her feed. Some of her friends, old classmates or just people she knew but wasn't close with, were already at the carnival and already posted pictures. Applejack could see how big the place is from most of the pictures.

Suddenly her phone rang. Applejack smiled as she read the name above the number, and answered the call.

"You can go out and wait for me, I'm almost there!"

Rainbow Dash didn't wait for an answer, she immediately hung up the phone. Applejack shook her head at that as she grabbed her bag, and she headed to the door.
