Chapter 9: Physical Education with Ahri, Sarah, and Syndra

Branden is walking down to PE class. Branden feels that everyone is acting strangely but can't tell if it's his imagination or not. Thoughts of revenge sparked once in a while but PE was always a great class for Branden to relieve stress.

Branden's POV

I walked to my PE class in the school gymnasium. I sat down at the bleachers and put all my stuff down; I pulled out my sports water bottle and took off my hoodie. Sarah, Syndra, Jackson, Chris, and Travis soon arrived and all of them sat next to me. Sarah and Syndra were surprisingly good at sports. Travis and Jackson are competitive. Chris is only here for fun. I thought while waiting for class to begin. I suddenly noticed that Ahri was walking towards us. Oh great, I thought with a sigh.

We all sat in the right corner section of the bleachers that was near the wall and we all waited for class to begin. I couldn't help but notice that Ahri had changed into a peach pink t shirt and black sports leggings. Hmm, I thought with slight arousement. The girls had their sports attire on and had their hair tied up. Sarah tapped my shoulder, "Hey what are we playing today?" I look at her, "I believe it is dodgeball today." Dodge ball was one of my favorite sports to play in PE, it was always fun and competitive.

The bell soon rang and class began. The two teachers stood in front of the bleachers and started to talk to everyone about what we are doing today. The teachers announced that we were gonna play dodgeball. Yes! I love this game! I thought with excitement. Everyone soon got off the bleachers and went to their assigned sections of the gym to begin doing stretches. Everyone was about two meters apart and started to do the usual stretches. I was on the backside of the gym and had Sarah next me and could see everyone. A few minutes flew by as we all did stretches, push ups, crutches, and a few more exercises. Everyone finished and we all walked back to the bleachers.

Me and my group sat in the right corner section as usual and the teachers soon started to split everyone into two teams. The class had about forty six students so each team had twenty three people. I was assigned to team one and had Jackson, Chris, and Sarah. Me and Travis were liked by the teachers and they told us to go to the storage room and set up the game. Me and Travis raced to the storage room and grabbed the two bags full of dodgeballs. We walked back to the gymnasium and started to put the balls in the middle.

We soon set up all twenty dodgeballs and went to each team's side; team one was on the left side while team two had the right side of the gym. The teachers collapsed the bleachers and we had the whole gym to play. Everyone was standing next to the walls and were ready to run to the middle. I looked around and everyone was pumped up. I got this. I'll play the early game safely and slowly eliminate people towards mid game, I thought. The teachers soon blasted their airhorns and the game began.

I acted like I was gonna run to the middle but actually walked to the left. I immediately noticed that Syndra was playing aggressively and threw a ball directly at me; I swiftly dashed to the right to dodge the ball. I soon ran to the ball Syndra threw at me and picked it up. I threw it and eliminated a person on the other team and was swiftly dodging balls for five minutes straight. Man they really want me out huh, I thought while dodging a ball Travis threw at me. Sarah had been eliminated by Ahri and I eliminated Syndra soon after.

After fifteen minutes, team one had twelve people left while team two had fifteen. The game slowed down a bit as everyone was slowly being exhausted. I directed Jackson to eliminate a person on the far right. He soon hit him and I saw that Ahri was purposely missing me. So that's how you wanna play Ahri; you'll regret not eliminating me. A few minutes flew by and team one had the lead with ten to seven. I eliminated four people so far and was really in the groove to win.
