Branden and Ahri are looking at each other; Branden is extremely nervous and Ahri is shocked. The two seem to have found a lost connection but they both don't feel this way. Branden didn't make any eye contact the whole time.

Branden's POV

Are you serious right now!? You are gonna let the person who took away your loved ones live with you!? Just talk to her! That hug showed that you still care about her right!? My mind was going crazy as I walked to my car. I felt anger build again and decided not to have any social contact with her. I eventually made it to my car and opened the trunk to put my backpack in; Ahri handed me her backpack and I put it in the trunk. I opened the driver side door and got in my car. I could tell Ahri was looking at me but I didn't look in her direction. I started the car and drove out of the school parking lot.

"I need to go to Ruby's house to get my stuff." Ahri said looking at me. I headed towards Ruby's house and I turned on my playlist of my favorite songs and played it in the car. I wanted to show my emotions and feelings through a song. I played a happy song but with lyrics that could be taken as happy or sad. Lyrics like "You made me this way", "I finished the things that you started", I've grown to look the other way", and "Maybe look what you've done" I enjoyed the song and could tell that Ahri knew what i was doing. It was a short drive to Ruby's house and I parked in the driveway.

Ahri got out and walked in the house. I decided to stay in the car and play games on my phone. After about twenty minutes, Ruby and Ahri came out with two medium sized boxes. I got out of my car and opened the trunk. I somehow managed to fit both boxes in the car and before I closed the trunk; Ruby smiled at me. "Thanks for letting Ahri stay at your place." I look at her with a faint smile, "Yeah... no problem" I closed the trunk and got in my car. Ruby was waving goodbye as I reversed out of her driveway. I started to head home and played some more sad music.

Me and Ahri were silent the whole car ride and soon arrived at my house. I drove into the driveway and opened my garage door; I parked my car and opened the trunk with the press of a button. Ahri got out first and headed inside while I grabbed our bags. Am I a servant to her now? I thought angrily as I stepped inside. I put our stuff on the sofa in the living room and I walked to the kitchen. Ahri was sitting in the dining room and was waiting for me.

"Hey, thanks for letting me stay for a while." Ahri said looking at me. I ignored her and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge. "Can i get a tour?" Ahri asked as I closed the fridge door. I looked at her and sighed, "Fine." I respond coldly. She got up from the chair and walked towards me. I first walked to the guest room and opened the door, "This is your room. It has a shower too and enough room to store your stuff." I walked into the bathroom and showed her around. I then walk to the kitchen and show her where everything food related is. I then walk to the study room, "You can study here if you need, meditate, or whatever you want. I don't use this room." Lastly I showed her where the master hall is, "Do not enter my room. You are a guest and nothing more." I sternly demanded. "O-ok... I-i will respect your privacy." Ahri responded with a slight stutter from my demand.

I walked to the kitchen and looked for something to eat. What do I have for dinner? I thought as I looked through the fridge. I only had ingredients for noodles and chicken. I guess I could have this for dinner. I need to go to the grocery store and get more food. I grabbed the chicken and put it in a bowl. I started to marinate it with teriyaki sauce and covered it with a lid and put it aside for dinner later tonight. I soon finished and decided to get ready to go to the grocery store. I walked to the laundry room and grabbed my hat; Ahri saw me and I turned to see her next to me. "Where are you going?" Ahri asked, "I'm going to the grocery store to get food for tomorrow." I respond while putting my hat on. "Oh, ok." She turned around and headed back to the living room. I turned and went to my car; I opened the garage door and started my car.
