y/n's pov

its nearly 6:30 and louis should be here any minute now. i go to the kitchen and ask my mum if she needs help. turns out she doesn't need help and so i go to my room to tidy it up. as i reach my room, i hear i knock on the door. i shout "i got it" and rush towards the door. i open the door and see louis standing there. i open the door a little wider and gesture him to come in.

y: "hey, come in!"

l: "thank you"

y: "did you walk or..."

l: "no no mum dropped me off, she had to go home to get for millie. she is also spending a night at her friends house."

y: "who said i was your friend..." i teased him

he smirked at me and my mum came to us.

y/n's mum: "louis, it is so nice to meet you. y/n has told me so much about you!" she hugged him.

l: "it is nice to meet you too!"

y/n's mum: "right ill call you guys for dinner, until then louis make yourself at home" and just like that she left us.

y: "let me show you to my room. that's where you will be sleeping."

he nodded and we walked to my room.

l: "nice room!"

y: "thanks, put your bag down wherever. i only have one bed so you can sleep on it, ill sleep on the air mattress."

l: "no stop, ill sleep on it"

y: "stop, i can sleep on it and-"

l: "well we could both sleep on it..."

i shoot him a death glare.

l: "i won't do anything" he holds his hands up in defence.

y: "fine"

i know he wasn't gonna try anything. it was just unexpected. and just like that i hear my mother shout "kids, dinner" we go downstairs and eat.

*skip dinner*

i'm currently in the bathroom and getting into my pjs. i can't believe how respectful louis was to my mum. they had a lovely conversation and he was so nice, it melted my heart. i come out of bathroom and see louis on the bed on his phone. i throw myself on the bed and whine

y: "im bored" stretching the 'd'

l: "what do you want to do?"

y: "i don't know" stretching the 'w'

l: "how about we build a fort?"

y: "on the roof?"

l: "wait what?"

y: "the roof has this part which is completely flat. i sit up there sometimes."

l: "okay whatever you want."

y: "okay grab the pillows, ill grab the blankets and follow me."

we make our way to the roof. the sun is setting it was beautiful. louis and i are setting up the fort when i stop and look at the sunset.

y: "look at the sunset, its beautiful!"

l: "its not the only thing thats beautiful..."

y: "nothing could match the beauty of this"

l: "you could..."

i turn to see a very red louis, i instantly look down as i feel my cheeks warm up.

y: "very funny partridge. now what movie do you want to watch?"

we sit in fort and i turn my laptop on.

l: "how about a comedy?"

y: "how about a romantic-comedy?"

l: "sure"

louis and i decided on 'to all the boys ive loved before'

we were watching it and halfway through i see louis asleep. i shut the laptop and slowly get up. i get out the fort sitting on the roof. my feet dangle off the edge.

l: "y/n?"

y: "louis, what's wrong?"

l: "i wanted to speak to you. i wanted to say this before and i can't keep it in. i understand this could ruin our friendship but you need to know."

i give him a confused look.

l: "the first time i saw you i knew you were the one. i've had feelings for you ever since. i know you don't feel the same way so i tried to get over you but it's so hard. i understand if you don't feel the same and i can go home if you want but i need to know how you feel."

i looked at him and and pressed my lips on his. he was shocked but gave in. i pulled away.

y: "does that answer your question?

he smiled hard and kissed me again...
