funfairs and plane tickets

y/n's pov

"i have another thing for you..." louis whispers. i smile at him and whisper back. "you have done so much for me. thank you... this is enough." he smirks and whispers, "just come with me" and takes my hand. as we leave the room, with our hands linked, i grab my bag and we make our way to the car.

we sit inside and louis starts to drive. the sun was perfectly setting and the trees and tall buildings created a beautiful scene. "so where are we going?" i question, interrupting the comfortable peace.  "funfair" louis says giving me a quick glance.

some of our great and fun moments are at a funfair. whenever one of us are down, happy, excited, literally anything, we go to the funfair. i lean back into the seat and smile.

we soon reach the funfair. louis parks the car and we stand in line. "i'm so excited" i say with a big smile. "same" louis says like a cheerful child. i pay for the tickets after a long disagreement. "y/nnnn" louis whines. "look at everything you have done today. the least i could do is get us tickets." i say. "but-" louis started to say something but i covered his mouth with my hand and paid. i smirked and we entered the funfair.

we first went to the bumper cars since they are louis's favourite ride. we first sat together then for the second round we sat separately. louis kept chasing me. we bumped into each other many times and louis kept hurting his knees because he was so tall.

we then went on wave swinger. (a/n: it's the one that's like a carousel but has swings instead and sometimes goes up and down). we sat down next to each other and the ride started. when it started to go sideways, louis thought we was gonna fall off and wouldn't stop screaming. i was laughing the whole way through but at the end, i held his hand which he says makes him feel safe. when the ride slowed down, he jumped off as soon as possible and lifted me. he ran far and said, "i hate that ride" while putting me down. i laughed and he did with me too.

we went on a few more rides before getting some food. i got fries. and louis got a hotdog. we sat on a bench and ate the food while looking back at some pictures that we took today.

after eating, we waited ten minutes then went on the ferris wheel. we took a ton of pictures and had an incredible time. at the top, the sun was setting perfectly and we said our "i love you". it wasn't our first but it felt so nice.

we got off the ferris wheel and made our way to the park next to the funfair. we both sat on the grass and looked up at the full moon. i felt louis's eyes on me so i looked at him. a faint smile was on his face. "what's wrong?" i asked him. he takes my hand and holds it tight and with his free hand, he takes out a envelope. he passes it to me and let goes off my hand. he gestures for me to open it and i obey.

as i open it, he says gently, "a year ago today, i found my soulmate. and i have never been happier in life. thank you for always being there with me. through good and bad times. i promise to keep you happy your whole life." i stop opening the envelope and hug him tightly.

"lou... the second i saw you, i knew you were my soulmate. i am so happy with you that i can't explain it. thank you to you too for being there for me. i promise to keep you happy and love you with my whole heart for the rest of our lives"

he pulls me into a hug and places a gentle kiss. we stare into each other's eyes for a few seconds and i go back to opening the envelope. i take out the piece of paper and read it. it's two plane tickets? i take a closer look and see louis and i's personal information and it says we are going to greece. i look up at louis with a huge smile and tears in my eyes. louis looks at my face and i understand i accept this trip. he quickly gets up and lifts me up. hugging me tightly and swinging me around he shouts, "we are going to greece baby!" i laugh and he lets me down. "louis, i love you and you didn't have to do this. you didn't have to do any of this. you don't have to prove your love for me. i know you love me. and i don't know if my mum would let me and with school-" he cuts me off. "your mum said yes, it's durning the school holidays, it's just the two of us and a couple of weeks in greece."

i smile and hug him, i whisper a thank you and he whispers back, "anything for you love"
