its a surprise love

y/n's pov:

we sat back in the fort and cuddled. i woke up in the morning and felt a strong arm around my waist. i turn around to face louis. i see his chest rise and fall slowly as i hear soft snores escape his mouth. i see a few strands of hair tickling his forehead. i slowly play with his hair and stare at his face. admiring his perfect features. i lose track of time when i hear louis say with a smirk.

l: "like what you see?" 

i chuckle and lightly slap on the chest.

y: "ew no"

i try to get up when i feel a tight grip on my wrist that pulled me back into the fort. 

y: "louis..."

l: "are you busy today?" he cuts me off.

y: "no."

l: "great, get ready after breakfast i'll collect you at 12pm."

i nod and we grab all the blankets and pillows and make our way to the room. we had breakfast and louis and my mum bid their goodbyes, since she had to go to work early. she attempted to make a english breakfast, it was still quite good though. not long after, louis also went home. i checked the time and it read 10:30am. i took a quick shower and got ready. i wore a sweater vest and a tennis skirt with trainers. i did some light makeup and made my way downstairs. i sat on the sofa scrolling through social media when i checked the time. it was 11:30am. i called louis. 

y: "hey"

l: "hey"

y: "do i need to bring something or can i have an idea as to what we are doing so i know i'm wearing the right clothes or you know?"

l: "its a surprise love. you don't need to bring anything except yourself and don't worry whatever you will wear is fine. i'm sure you'll look great either way."

i blush at the last part of his comment.

y: "okay see you soon"

l: "bye"

its 11:56am and i hear a knock on the door. i run over and open the door. louis opens this arms and i jump into them. 

l: "hello to you too."

y: "hey"

l: "come on, lets go. if we leave at the right time, we can escape the traffic."

i nod and grab my bag and we leave. 

*skip the ride*

the ride was good, we had a gentle conversation and sang songs. we stopped after a 30 minute ride. 

l: "okay, so when we get out the car, you need to close your eyes. i'll use my hands to cover them."

i nod and we get out. we walk for what seems like 2 minutes and then louis removes his hands. i open my eyes and see a beautiful park with a lake at the side and beautiful flower beds everywhere. i also spot a picnic blanket with a my favourite foods and and instax camera. there were flowers all over the blanket. i turn around and see a very nervous louis. i hug him tightly. 

l: "well?"

y: "i love it, thank you!"

l: "no worries"

we sat down and started to eat and talk. when we were eating, i realised that all the food and drinks were my favourite. 

y: "louis, you know everything here is my favourite?"

l: "when i went downstairs before you for breakfast, i asked your mum what you like. she told me and i made it, with the help of my sisters." he chuckled.

y: "thats really sweet, thank you."

l: "anything for you love."

soon after we took pictures and talked. it had been a couple of hours and now we are going home. well i thought we are. i see that louis missed the exit to go home.

y: "lou, i thought we were going home?"

l: "i got more thing for you."

y: "louis, this really wasn't necessary i-" i was cut off by louis saying

l: "let me just do this for you"

those innocent eyes made me give in. 

y: "okay."

now its starting to get dark and we reach this place with lanterns.

we step out and sit on the ground surrounded by people. 

y: "what's this?"

l: "you write a wish and you let it go into the sky."

i grab the paintbrush and write our names with a heart around it. 

l: "that isn't a wish"

y: "well i just don't want us to break each others hearts."

l: "you can't think about that on our first date!"

y: "but"

l: "no buts, i promise to not break your heart!"

y: "i promise not to break yours"

louis smirks at me.

y: "just pass over the lighter." i chuckle

i hold the lantern up while louis lights it. we both let go together. i felt louis's arm snake around my waist. i looked up at him and pecks his lips. we sat in the car and we went home. i offered louis to come in but he had to collect millie from her friends house. i went in and saw that my mum still wasn't back. i check my phone and see a text from her. she will be back home late, its fine i was use to it. i ordered dinner and went to the roof. i laid down and looked at the stars.
