anniversary gifts

tomorrow is louis and i's one year anniversary. he pleaded to plan the day so i let him. i wanted to plan the day but he started throwing a tantrum like a 5 year old boy so i let him. i'm not gonna lie, it was pretty cute. millie and issie also told me to let him. i am really nervous and my gift has to be perfect if louis is planning the day out. i've ordered his presents and most of them are here. the only ones that are coming later are some pictures. they are mainly pictures of louis and i's main events and really cute moments together. i'm gonna wrap all the presents today.

first of all we have a skateboard deck. louis and i went to the beach a few weeks ago and he really liked the deck but didn't buy it because he said he already had too many. he also mentioned it was on the more expensive side. when we were at the beach i told louis i had to go to the washroom so i went and bought the deck. we went with millie and issie so i put it on the trunk of issie's car and told issie to make sure he didn't open the trunk. that was successful and i've kept it safe in my house.

secondly, we have these two new sweaters that louis has had on his shopping list. he won't stop talking about it and they keep selling out. i checked when they will re-stock and i stayed up all night to buy 2. those came yesterday. i also got sweaters because i keep taking his.

the third one is these two books that are on his reading list. i asked millie to check the list he has on his phone and she sent me the screenshots. i chose the first two as she explained the ones on the top are the ones he wants to read first. the book was 'they both die at the end' and 'one of us is lying'. i have both of those books and they are really good. i managed to get the ones signed by the author and i hope he likes it.

and finally we have a photo book. i have the book but there was an issue with the photos. i ordered them and the first place made them all really blurry in a bad way. the second shop printed them in black and white. not the nice way. lastly i ordered them from a website and they should be arriving any minute now.

i started wrapping the presents. i wrap the skateboard in this shiny red wrapping paper since louis loves red. i place a bow on it but the reds clash so i took it off.

then i fold the sweaters and put them in a gift bag. i also placed the anniversary card inside on top of the sweaters.

then i wrapped the books in white wrapping paper and placed mini red bows on my top left corner.

as i was placing the bows, there was a knock on the door. luckily i was doing this in my room so just in case it was louis , he wouldn't see. i shut the door and locked it. you never know, it could be him and he could go to my room. as i lock the room i shout "one second". i open the door and it was delivery man with a small box in his hands. "are you miss y/n y/l/n?" he questioned. "that's me!" he hands me the box and i signed the paper. then we bid each other goodbye.

i went back to my room and let out a relived sigh. thank god it wasn't louis. i sat back on the floor and looked through the pictures. thankfully they were perfect. i put the books to one side as i finished wrapping them and next was the photo book.
